This is an election year, no judicial approvals. Trump is not the government.

Itís irrelevant because McConnellís stated reason was to give the people a say in the next Justice. OK, if the people should get a say then that applies to this election as well because the people could very well say they donít want a Republican majority in the Senate voting on this Supreme Court vacancy.

Exactly. But this is not what the right ever intended, is it? It's not supposed to apply to everyone.

You can't stretch anything that far. It only applies to nominees, not the senate. Biden made that clear in his seminal statements about the rule he made. Your arguement wouldn't fly past a JP let alone a real judge. Or even the "reasonable man" that we hear so much about a jury members.

This is all irrelevant because the Dems can't actually do anything about it anyway.

What do you mean it only applies to nominees? That makes no sense. Iím also not arguing that there is any legal issue, merely a hypocrisy issue.

And that's where you are screwing up. Hypocrisy is NO ISSUE AT ALL to the RW. Hell, if anything it's a PREREQUISITE for RW beliefs.

No judicial nominees during an election year. That's your boy McConnell. What are you afraid of?
