Durbin does it again

After confirming my statement that libs will do anything to bash Trump ol Dicky does it again. He's calling for his colleagues in the Congress to fall on their swords and take one for the team. He of course, isn't in danger, he isn't running this year!! He also reps a state that is about as Blue as it gets. Amazing the bravado you see when the loons are snuggly in their "safe place". Wonders what they're offering their Hari Kari team this year?

Good! He’s doing what his constituents want. You guys did the same to Obama, so deal with it.

No justices confirmed in an election year. You started that shit, so karma is coming to bitch slap you. Better get used to it.
Thanks from Hollywood

Deal with it? I think it's hilarious!!! The loons are going to lose any war they start over the SCOTUS nominee, they are going to expend their vulnerable troops on a lost cause. I'm so glad I let the Dem party behind in the 60s and don't have to be bothered with living under the oppressive heel of the likes of Durbin et al.
Thanks from Jimgorn

Instead you prefer to live under the oppressive heel of the likes of McConnell et al.

In the case of the devil you know I have a far better feel for what the Republicans will do as oppose to the looney Libs running the Democrat party which is increasingly trying to out do each other as to how far left they can get. I also agree with most of what the Reps want to do and disagree with the plans for further socializing the country till it's impossible to reverse without another civil war. Obama and his congressional cronys pushed us to the limit and now that a return to sanity is back in power the Libs don't seem to realize they are out of power. They are engaged in self destructive behaviour and are in need of restraint.

Ive asked this of every person who claims Obama was a socialist/had a socialist agenda.

So far no answers.

Name one socialist policy Obama had.

Yes, deal with it. I and many others have been writing our congress folk to deny approval of any supreme court nominee until after the 2018 election. You all did the same in the last election, and it worked out just fine. Everyone gets to play the same game. If you don't like it, too bad.

So you're a boomer? That explains a lot. You were spoiled, selfish pricks back then and you still are. The "Love Generation" was never about anything but themselves. All you really cared about was not getting drafted. You never believed in a damn thing you said. And we Gen X folks have always had to clean up your messes. We'll have to do it after Trump too:

Unfortunately, Trump is the last gasp of your generation, and he's going to do the most damage. We're going to have to do a ton of work to clean up this crap.
Thanks from RNG

Most attempts at deflection are ignored. Start a thread on that subject and lets go from there.

Ah desperation strikes again. Using the most commonly accepted definition of a boomer, I don't qualify. I was in grade school when the era started. Boomers were those who drove the country so far left over such a short period of time that it nearly tore us apart. I had a front row seat as an active member of the Democrat Party ol Buddy! The reason I left the Party is the same as the neocon Democrat Senators who jumped ship at about the same time.

Your guess as to my generation, followed by the usual and anticipated personal attacks, is a lame but typical attempt by the lefties to smear anyone who falls on their right. Too bad, so sad.
