I believe Democrats will end up looking terrible as a result. The Judge is a truly honorable man and the mud slinging is going to hurt those doing the slinging.

Kavanaugh is a truly honorable man?? Well, that's great. How long have you known him?

Are you high?? The GOP didn't what?? PASS HIM?? PASS? HIM?

Even before Obama had named Garland, and in fact only hours after Scalia's death was announced, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell declared any appointment by the sitting president to be null and void. He said the next Supreme Court justice should be chosen by the next president to be elected later that year.

There was no precedent for such an action since the period around the Civil War and Reconstruction. No Democratic president had made an appointment while Republicans held the Senate since 1895.

McConnell BRAGGED about it. "One of my proudest moments was when I looked Barack Obama in the eye and I said, 'Mr. President, you will not fill the Supreme Court vacancy.' "

Is Brett Kavanaugh a bad choice by President Trump?

I wonder why Trump picked Brett Kavanaugh for his Supreme Court nominee who is favored by many of our Washington Swamp Creatures.

I could be wrong but I am not convinced believe Brett Kavanaugh will be obedient to and enforce legislative intent. Instead, he will give way to existing judicial tyranny when writing his opinions which means existing perversions of our Constitution will prevail over the text and legislative intent of our Constitution.

Time will tell.

The majority of Americans say the U.S. Senate should confirm President Donald Trump’s U.S. Supreme Court pick before the mid-term elections in November, according to a recent NBC News/SurveyMonkey poll.
The poll found 62 percent of people surveyed thought the nominee should be confirmed by the current Republican-led Senate. Thirty-three percent of people thought Trump’s pick should be confirmed after the mid-terms.

MAJORITY = >50% (BETTER KNOWN AS >1/2)

Congress should pass a law giving presidents immunity from civil suits and criminal investigations and prosecutions until they leave office is the view of Kavanaugh. That is why he was selected by TRump.

Trump is all about Trump, does anyone not know this?

Hello (PRESIDENTS CANNOT be indicted while in office.) They have to be IMPEACHED and REMOVED before Charges can be filed....

That is why Charges were not filed against Clinton until after noon on January 20, 2001 and at the hearing in Federal Court. President Clinton pleaded Guilty to all charges (for which he was impeached) at the Hearing.

Yes.. he was Travel Gate (of which he had to pay damages to the Employees he fired without cause)

Yes For Violations of Sunshine laws by his Healthcare Commission of which he had to disband because of the violation of the law.

For Lying under oath (of which he pleaded guilty) on January 21,2001
Suborning Perjury (of which he pleaded Guilty) on January 21, 2001

For Sexual Harassment (which he had to pay $850,000 in damages)

For lying under oath in a state Civil Court for which he had to pay 90,000 fine

Yes, the investigations were warranted.. and they didn't take 2 years to complete or to find evidence of wrongdoing.
