It is interesting to see the war against tobacco merge with the push to legalize wacky tobaccy. Inhaling more tars than with a cigarette, ~17% have psychotic events with weed. Keep the American people high on weed and what rights that remain will then be stolen away in that haze? Pushing marijuana on the youth is a very bad idea indeed.

Pot is an entry level drug.
So...I am inferring that if it is legalized people will begin using it?

The entire nation will start to look like a Cheech and Chong movie.

But the good news is, pizza, ice cream and pastry sales will go through the roof. Buy stock in those companies now.

FDR spent his first few days in office fixing the banks, and then he legalized beer. President Obama has buoyed the banks; what about legalizing marijuana? asks Keith Stroup, the attorney who founded the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws in 1970. For decades, Stroup has argued that legalizing pot would produce mega tax windfalls, and now, officials of states zonked out by the fiscal crisis—Texas, Tennessee, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania—are asking Stroup for the 411 on ganja green. "As smokers," he adds, "we're raising our hands and saying: 'Tax us!' "

This is simple, money is good, financing is bad, bad for the individual but good for the economy. The solution is moderation in ones spending, and moderation in government. There all problems solved.
