The post above is an example of a certain kind of mental/emotional poison. Unfortunately, you willingly spread it, and feel decidedly righteous about your doing so.

And, your rant was built around a straw horse to begin with. Who's saying cannabis consumption, or barbecued chicken, is harmless? Can you cite one "harmless" human activity?
It's not about harmlessness, it's about the degree of harm. Nothing may be harmless, but inhaling smoke does far more harm to you and the people around you than having a cookout bud.

I can't believe you're deluded enough to call me condemning people for toxicating the air others have to breathe a "mental emotional poisoning" in some sort of superiority complex. I'm sorry, is hurting the people around you for a benefit-less addiction not inferiority?

Every day I go to work I pass by a sign on the front of the store that reminds people it's illegal to smoke on the establishments property, and every day I go to work I see dozens, even hundreds on a particularly busy and long day, walking around with damn cigarettes in their mouths. The customers do it, the staff do it on their breaks, and nobody gives a shit. I watch parents carry their children on their hips with a lit cigarette in their mouth and it pisses me off to no end. The level of conceit necessary to toxicate your own child's developing lungs is revolting; so you'll have to forgive me if I sound like I'm morally superior to people who willingly contribute to the premature death of their friends, family, children and complete strangers to boot.

We don't get high and try to drive, or play mumbly peg, we get high and get beautiful...
It enhances the already amazing experience, it's all good.
What I don't do now, is all the stupid stuff I used to do when I got high when I was 20.

I asked him what was so good about fighting the beast ? I told him that the herb of the late 70's and early 80's was pleasurable without having to "fight the beast".
A tendency to induce paranoia and anxiety are characteristic of certain strains but not all. I find the indicas will induce both briefly if sufficiently strong. I tend to avoid Indicas. Sativas are a bit worse for giving you the munchies but not the other things.

Most medical cannabis is indica with low to moderate THC levels and high CBD and CBN content. Like many meds, the side-effects are transitory and the pain relief is fast and effective.

I have never had to "fight the beast" but then I tend to be aware of what is happening to me and why. But, if you really don't like it don't use it. It isn't a big deal...like the rogue law enforcement operations so common today...just don't use it. More for me.

I don't think he was being funny. I don't think you have any sense of humor at all.

Did you have a point or are you just enamored of your own attempts at humor?
Thanks from Camelot

Of course he hasn't. Would he be so mean spirited and repressed if he had ?

Yup, which is why I pointed out the exposure relationship. Mrs. RNG (the oncological dietitian) does love her some BBQ once in a while.
