One does not have to smoke marijuana. I sometimes do if I want to get high and don't have a choice. I usually take a half gram and melt it in butter and mix in a starchy food. Get "baked" for hours and hours, much longer than smoking. Actually, to the human body, smoke of any kind is a negative.

For myself, marijuana makes me HUNGRY, which is bad for me since I am overweight. Actually, cannabis and the THC is and would be a godsend to patients who have little appetite because of illness.

Creativity? Maybe or maybe not. Marijuana (and the anti-pot people bring this up) makes people, or at least myself, very lazy. Also, a lot of alcoholic and pissed drunk everyday folk have been some of the creative people of all time. The drug does not make one creative, one has always been creative. Likker and weed sometimes breaks walls and sparks creativity. Most however, sit on barstools hammered or sitting at the house all red eyed, with a bag of doritoes on one's gut.

Try vaping cannabis.

And there are hundreds or more strains of cannabis. Some will put you to sleep. Some will wire you. Some make you more talkative, some bring out your creativity. The differences between cannabis strains result from the varying CBD components.

The only reason I smoke a tiny bit of strong pot is because it makes my constant headache go away. Call it self-medicate if you choose when aspirin has no effect on my constant headache from birth.

Tylenol, acetaminophen. It's garbage for most pains. It does not reduce inflammation.

It may have more to do with reduction of stress for pots amazing headache and other aches and pains relief rather than directly acting on the brain pain receptors. They took morphine out of the gun bags that everyone had access to (first aid kits) because some sailors were abusing the morphine. Some people ain't too smart is all I can say.
