I don't know, he didn't sound credible to me. He is a eloquent speaker but he makes many references without substantiating facts. As such he comes across as confusing his opinion based upon his 'anecdotal' experience as valid research.

if you told people that they had to stay in prison, but could have all the dope that they wanted, you'd have to put machineguns on the walls to keep people OUT. They really ARE that weak-minded!

You've got it the wrong way around, kid. Capitalism is a prison, unbearable without some drug or other.

The Addict's Cage Is The Law -Not The Drugs

That cage he mention is -I think- the fact of the law.

By the way, I'm a closet pro-legalisation myself. The problem I have is with how the anti-legalization people have massive control (unjust control, in my opinion) over the masses. The poor medicate on marijuana, whereas the anti-legalization people medicate on money/power.

For instance, the addict's problem is roughly 75% law and 10-25% the drugs themself. In an addict's mind is thinking "I'm stoned, and I'm a law-breaker because possessing/consuming drugs is illegal, thus my mind is problematic instead of carefree, etc etc."

The state that is not carefree is chaos and mental unclarity.
