Only a fool would buy drugs off the street.

I buy bus tokens often. There are a few bodegas that are known to buy food shelves off of people and yes trade is very common especially when you are getting pennies on the dollar.

But yeah, the cornor boys from "the wire" probably will not take a pack of ribeyes.

*shrug*

Poor white people in Eastern Kentucky and other Appalachian states will spend money on cases of soda, amd sell them to a convenience store for half price for spending money. Before that it was Food Stamps which were devalued by half so the welfare recipient can buy smokes, beer and whatever else isn't food.

HOORAY FOR FLORIDA!
HOW WONDERFUL IT IS, ITS ABOUT TIME

I-95 and I-75 will be jammed for the next month or so with druggies and deadbeats heading North out of Florida , because this is the first state in the union to require drug testing to receive welfare!

Hooray for Florida ! In signing the new law, Republican Gov. Rick Scott said,"If Floridians want welfare, they better make sure they are drug-free."

Applicants must pay for the drug test, but are reimbursed if they test drug-free. Applicants who test positive for illicit substances, won't be eligible for the funds for a year, or until they undergo treatment. Those who fail a second time will be banned from receiving funds for three years!

Naturally, a few people are crying this is unconstitutional.
How is this unconstitutional? It's a legal requirement that every
person applying for a job has to pass drug tests in order to get the job, why not those who receive welfare?

Forward this if you agree!

Let's get welfare back to the ones who need it, not to those who won't get a job.
I agree. If there taking illegal drugs, they should not receive any tax payer benefits.

You did NOT say "street level?" You mean you were talking about these people buying drugs ABOVE the street level seller?

You were talking about BUYING ILLEGAL DRUG WITH STEAKS & SEAFOOD and now you just want to say they are "tangible commodities in the projects?"

You seem to be talking about very poor people living in "the projects". Where in the fuck do you THINK they buy their illegal drugs? You think they have private doctors that write them endless prescriptions for Oxy, like Rush Limbaugh?

Yep, and less than 1% tested positive, which ended up making the policy a complete failure.

The part of that post which should stand out to everybody about drug testing for any reason, is the part about it being a "legal requirement" that all people must be drug tested for a job.

Newsflash: There is no legal requirement for a drug test to get a job.

There is no legal requirement for a drug test for any reason.

It is an arbitrary, and un constitutional rule illegally imposed, and a violation of all Americans 4th Amendment rights.

This is your brain on Ronald Reagan.
Thanks from Hollywood

I'm about as liberal as they come, and I have no issue with this law at all.
