Incorrect. The US is currently importing about 1/3 of its needs. I'm not sure what price for ore would be necessary for other deposits to become economic.

You want to be serious or not?
You were just joking about that annex thing, were you not?

You just dick-waving and trying to imply we should invade and occupy Mexico without sounding TOO silly, or what?

The Mexicans, actually a past president of Mexico Vincente Fox, has already essentially told Trump no, they will NOT pay for any such wall.

it was a solution to the tariffs. they could choose to be annexed if they wanted.

all hypotheticals

it would also solve a big part of the immigration problem.

No way in hell would Mexico agree to be annexed.

Of course they're not going to pay a dime more in wages than they have to?! They're in business to MAKE-MONEY, they are not the welfare department. When you've got hundreds of unskilled, uneducated people standing in line for an entry level job...it has everything to do with it! Yes, the government will allow cheap foreign labor to take US jobs. Obimbo has been president for nearly 8-years. Has anything changed? Or, has the influx of cheap foreign labor excellerated? Are there less illegal alien parasites taking entry level jobs for less money? Are legal American citizens forced to supplement them?

Of course they wouldn't. There are only two levels in Mexico. The rich...and the rest. Do you think the rich want to pay American taxes? When the number of poor become to dependent...they send them to us. We're Mexico's safety valve. Mexico plays us like a drum.

It is not surprising: when minimal wage is established above what is fixed by Lord Jesus Christ, that is 1/8 of one ounce of silver per hour work, one ounce of silver per workday, 30 ounces of silver per monthly work (Matthew 20:2), or 6.25 USD per work hour, 50 USD per workday, 1000 USD per monthly work at free market price of an ounce of silver between 30USD and 35USD, artificially lowered by derivative machinations of western central banks at markets for precious metals, then underemployment grows, as it is cheaper to automate work than to hire workers at unreasonable wage rates.

At the same time, tens of millions of American workers, including young workers, tipped workers, workers in some US states and US territories, are still not paid minimal wages of 6.25 USD per work hour, 50 USD per workday, 1000 USD per monthly work, due to them. I sincerely hope that uniform federal minimal wage for all categories of American workers without exception will be established by the US congress and obama administration this year, to adequately protect labor rights of vulnerable American workers.
