UUUUHHHHH excuse the fuck outa me, but these were the EXACT SAME THINGS the NRA and conservatives were saying about the high school students and their movement after the Florida massacre.

You people INSISTED they couldn't possibly be doing all on their own. That they were being manipulated and managed. That some of them weren't actually students, but paid actors. That those speeches HAD to be written for them (the fact that the main speakers were members of the schools debate team seemed irrelevant to you) etc etc etc ad nauseam

Guess you didn't pick up on my SARCASM
Thanks from imaginethat and Hollywood

SabCat, if you have something worthwhile to discuss, please write it or provide link me to a written document.
I don't know if this child had anything worthwhile to say. I'm old, my hearing is poor, but I do read. I couldn't understand what she was saying. The fault's mine rather than hers. I cannot understand what most people say to me; (which I often consider as my being blessed with poor hearing).

For example, I need not disregard what I've been told by people that have “changed their mind”. I didn't hear what was first said.

There'd be fewer conflicts in this world if we didn't misunderstand what people are telling us; there'd also be fewer conflicts in this world if we didn't too well understand the motives of people that presume to inform us.

Respectfully Supposn
