I enjoy Forbes very much and agree that it is a respected source, but ONE individual (who freelances) is not my idea of a respected source, UNLESS he/she has worked IN THE industry and has some experience/knowledge/education/background in government economics...which the author DOES NOT.

Forbes ran for President but did not get enough votes to get on the GOP ticket. I forget what year that was but more than two decades ago. Forbes looks strange to me.

It's something called The Trump Effect: Insult every race, religion, and person who doesn't agree with you, hoping that they will love you and then agree with you. It rarely works, does it? LOL

A good example would be right here in PA. The LCB (Licore Control Board) cracking down on Poker machines in the VFWs and Fire Halls...no problem with these things for 30 years....all of a sudden the State Police are raiding and taking these machines....Now who do you think is instigating them into enforcing laws that might have been on the books but were never seriously enforced??....Why the big casinos of course...They do not want no competition from these small competitors...

And, since the ones who are "succeeding" on this "equal playingfield" will be able to roll over their accumulated wealth to build greater wealth(if that's their goal) we'll end up with billionaires and corporations who try to eliminate their competition to establish monopolies where they can control prices. No doubt this will include buying a few politicians (who come surprisingly cheap for the riches they provide their benefactors), the same shit will happen over and over again! One way or another, capitalist systems that drive inequality and resource depletion have to be brought to an end, or there will be no one left on this planet to argue about it!
