WALMART !!!!!!

Walmart has deliberately driven hundreds of American companies into bankruptcy, then bought their assets, or had one of their Chinese partners buy them, close the plants here and move it all to China !!
Chinesse goods are sold in all department stores and have been for decades.

Why does China do so well?

China is not "communist". It isn't even socialist. It is state capitalist and transitioning to private capitalism.

So the question is why capitalism is working so well in China but not so well in the USA. And the reason is found in the nature and strengths and "purpose" of capitalism.

Capitalism came about in the 1500s and thereafter in order to produce commodities. The effort to produce enough food to feed the populations was achieved sufficiently by the feudal system. Next was capitalism to produce commodities.

China has a long way to go to become a modern industrialized society, so a system designed for commodity production finds good application and good reception in such a country.

OTOH, the USA is a very highly developed modern industrialized country. Capitalism did its job here. It worked very well. And now it is running into the problem of inadequate consumption relative to the needs of an economic system that requires constant growth -which capitalism is.

So while China is in its heyday, the US is in crisis and in decline.

Every communist revolution led by a communist party like in China, identified itself as a "Marxist party" and declared that they followed the teachings of Marx. So Marx is the "authority".

Question for you: what did Marx say communism was? How did he define it?

China likes to play a lot of economic games like, theft of Intellectual Property, currency manipulation, a sever disregard for environmental safeguard, and lopsided import taxes. Before Trump, our weak presidents went along to get along. Trump is not buying into that game. It's about time someone stood up for us.

China is transitioning to capitalism ONLY in the business field which is still under the control of the Marxist government. Marxism is the precursor to communism.
