The billionaires are too far up the scale to get much of any scrutiny. Although when a total asshole like Trump turns up, he unintentionally provides the perfect example of why the whole narrative of living in a meritocracy is bullshit! The rich are not smarter, not more hard working/usually just born into wealth or even pure luck..being in the right place at the right time and willing to take a big risk. Unfortunately, these risk takers are also typically reckless and have little or no concern for the welfare of others.

So, essentially, today's capitalist world of rule by the billionaire class means being ruled by psychopaths who have no qualms about instigating nuclear war or destroying the planet through climate change and environmental degradation. It would be nice if they were superior-acting people/but they're not! So, why not hate the rich? They're stealing the future from our future progeny and all of the creatures that are fast heading towards mass extinction already today!

What do rich people do with their money?

They buy stuff or invest it.

What happens then?

People get jobs.
They don't buy enough, or invest enough, for them money is power, and they are always seeking more power! What the hell can Jeff Bezos do with 141 billion dollars? And why does he want more?

This trickle down, supply side economics narrative is bullshit pure and simple. If you want to stimulate the economy, you give more money to the poorest people...who need the money so they are going to spend it, not sock it away in their bloated trust funds or foreign accounts!

But still, that is such a small part of the wealth of "the rich" it doesn't matter.

You can not accept that despite countless examples of tax cuts for the rich, trickle down does not happen. Like Clara said, what you get is tinkle on economics.

Read a book.
I remember when American yacht makers in the US shut down back in the seventies when a special tax was passed on them. All those jobs quickly moved outside the US.

The richest are Bill Gates and Warren Buffet. They’ve helped millions. Do they fit your hate fueled stereotype?

Why? Because they have more money than you? You will never put the screws to the wealthy. Any and all attempts will come back to bite you in the ass. They have places to move if they have to. They live here and create jobs. Yeah, many million and billionaires are ungrateful self-centered spoiled brats. But not all rich people are of corrupt mind. I've know millionaires who were very kind to the poor and helped them out immensely. It all depends on their morals and beliefs. If they are atheists then they live by survival of the fittest and they will kill off the poor if it means saving a dollar.

Yeah yeah, some are born into wealth or just got lucky as you correctly say. And it is true these millionaires tend to be the scum of the earth with no love towards their fellow man. They live only for their own wealth which is a shameful existence. This is why our founders wanted us to remain a religious nation so this problem of greed would not get out of control. But you cannot legislate morality. That has to be something from within. People who reject Christ are more likely going to rob from the poor.

Just two days ago, some butt holes were working on something and broke our areas water line. I don't know all the little details but they messed up and everyone in my area went without water for nearly 24 hours. So that night I hitched a ride with a neighbor in his truck and we and some others headed towards the nearest plaza area which has a gas station and laundry mat run by Hindu Indians. We entered into the laundry mat and began filling our containers with water using the big sink inside the mat. Once they realized we were taking water from the sink so we had some water supply for pets and fleshing toilets the owner came in and said we cannot take any water. We tried to explain to him what had happened but he did not care and said we could not take their water. Like WTF, right? But that's the caste system in action. Hindus hold people down to their situation and never help others. I once drove to that same gas station looking for cover from very violent winds and a down poor I've never seen before. They locked up the gas station so that people could not get in when they needed shelter from the storm. Again, Hinduism is action. This is why India has so many poor people. The Hindu government won't help anybody because its against their stupid mystical religion to do so! They won't even give you water when there is a water outage in the area during the hot season where there are heat advisories!

Oh yeah and the history of socialism has no psychopaths?

Nearly 200-million people wiped out in the short time span in the 20th century, roughly a 50 year time span. All these genocides were committed by practicing socialists. So whether we are talking about Communist Russia, Nazi Germany, Mao China or other socialist countries, they all exterminated millions of people who did not conform to socialism. And that's what the left wants to do in the United States as well, and I have seen enough conversations by socialists talking about what to do with all our dead bodies and how to dispose of them? Yeah, the same hate of the 20th century socialists is alive and well in the 21st century.

These socialist dictators and their state officials are all stinking rich! They milk the poor for every red cent, leaving them with no money left and having to give up their private property to the state just to pay for all the state run programs. So in socialist countries you are not even allowed to own something nice for yourself that you've worked hard for! You have to give up everything to the state! These socialists are way more greedy than you want to admit.

Also, in order for a socialist country to compete with the world market, a system of capitalism must be in play. This is called crony capitalism. So the problems you see today in capitalism were all problems started by socialists!

You want a better world and give your life to Christ and then convert all the millionaires. Get them to teach Christian values in the schools so that the chances of greedy adults won't be as high as it is today due to the survival of the fittest doctrine of evolution theory which feeds the Social Darwinism of politics.

There will always be money and power. The idea is to make sure that money and power goes to our own nation and not sent over to foreign nations where it does us no good here. NAFTA was a greedy move and Bill Clinton is the one who signed it into policy. What was the result? All our jobs moving overseas. By the end of Clinton's last year in office our series of recessions had begun.

I try and sink this into both liberals and conservatives about this issue. We cannot ever, no matter how intelligently thought out, come up with an economic plan that will ever work without Christian morality. No plan, no matter how good, will work. If there are no true morals in the people there will never be any Do Not Do Boundaries which binds one to their moral conscience. I won't even argue economic relief plans because without Christ' morality instilled in the people every plan will be corrupted by those greedy politicians with money and power.

The trickle down economics works well in a moral society. But America hasn't been a moral society for quite some time now. So no good plan will ever work apart from Christian morality. This is what happens when a Christian nations becomes secularized with atheistic relativism. Its a license for the greedy with no moral conscience.

Jeepers, why do you think people feel the need to "hide their money overseas"?

I’d say the greedy selfish bastards are those that think they have rights to another mans property.
