Equally well, why should some loud minority be able to decide what should not be allowed?
Thanks from Panther and Sabcat

Hmmm, curious. I sure don't remember any "PC police" ruining the rather intense discussions in my political science classes. Nope. Not during the theory classes, debates about race and gender, discrimination, religion (got pretty heated in that class). Gee whiz. I guess the PC police were busy cramming donuts in their holes, and missed out on all the fun.

No. I go to the university to get plenty of lectures. You watch the damn lecture. I don't need anyone mansplaining their opinions to me.

it was a prof giving a lecture on campus, to a class.

but I'm sure you are all in w/ the SJWs and don't see the damage it is doing, safe places, trigger words, reconfigured pronoun demands. the needs for feelings to be shielded as the quest for knowledge is sacrificed. control the language control the thoughts.

Sigh Obviously they hadn't. My hat is off to Gad Saad and the leftist college for recognizing a problem, trying to address it and fix it by hosting this lecture.

What would you have called the college students protesting the Viet Nam War ?

Dude! Watch the lecture. Gad points out that the exchange of ideas are being curbed and destroyed right in front of US societies eyes at universities, and the government and parents are paying for the bullshit. Also, it doesn't matter what we think here. What matters is what is happening on campuses. They are deciding what is allowable to their delicate little ears.
Thanks from Sabcat

Are these the same one's that allegedly spat on returning US soldiers?

I don't care what was said then. I care about what is allowed to be said now.

Whatever. Not in the discussions in my classes, as I already said. Nobody was using racial slurs, or any kind of homo- or transphobic language, and they damn sure weren't using any sexist crap talk. It is too easy to put forth an intelligent argument without having to resort to the trailer park, gutter talk like we see around here.

There was no sacrificing of knowledge. If anything, bigots can learn a helluva lot by going to school and being exposed to education and other groups of people.

I'm not going to waste my time listening to some guy whine about what he thinks is happening. It is already bad enough to see so many crying about it here, and I seriously doubt some (most?) of them haven't been in a college classroom for some time -- or ever.

Whatever. Waste of time.
Thanks from Sabcat

Equally curious. Was a right winger conducting the lecture?

He is presenting facts based on what we all see on the news, and what is shared by videos and research done by objective groups with an honest concern for the freedom of ideas on college campuses in his lecture.

And mansplaining? Oh my Gawd! He touches on that as well. My God! The irony....
Thanks from Sabcat
