There you go, making things up again. I never said anything about him being some "male chauvinist joker with no academic experience." I said he has a different experience than I do. He sees a problem where he is and I don't. At no time did I try to pretend that he was some random janitor at a truck stop, cussing about edjumakshun.

The responses in this thread don't mean anything. We have crazies here at this site who will say all kinds of tinfoil hat things. This isn't exactly the pulse of the university/college/higher learning vein in the US. We have some here, I am guessing, who never even went to college that are giving their opinions on this issue. Certainly some who haven't been in a college classroom in a very long time. That doesn't sound like the best group of voices to really listen to.

Stupid stuff. The usual. Just having a bit of fun.
Stepped into other peoples shit. How brown my shoes are.

Then you will pardon me when i say that that wasn't at all the impression you were giving me throughout this thread.

What do you mean? Are you saying that my and Sabcat's responses don't mean anything because we are crazy and say all kinds of weird tinfoil hat crap? If so then.... Really!?! And, hmmmmmm....

I disagree. Then what are we too make of it when it is reported in the news. It's not only Fox that is covering this. It's so bad that I've even read and heard that even older Liberal/left leaning adults are embarrassed about what they are seeing and reading.
Thanks from Sabcat

I'd have to see what these news reports are about that are giving old Liberals grey hairs. If it is the ridiculous stuff from Yale that Sabcat said about Halloween, and the crap in Mizzou, all I can do is roll my eyes. Those two instances don't make a vast disease corrupting the US higher ed system. We can't look at some over-hyped example and try to pretend that garbage is happening all over the country's campuses.

As for the tinfoil hat stuff, yeah Sabs does crack off some crazy posts! You? I haven't seen anything too ridiculous, yet. But I got my eyes open. I'll let you know when I buy stock in Reynolds Wrap.

What? Comedians can't pick and choose where they want to perform? Are you saying they should do something they don't want to? What kind of statist are you, Sabcat?

Poor Chris Rock and some other guy.
Thanks from Camelot

Liberals Should Be Deeply Disturbed by Political Correctness Craze Sweeping College Campuses

Can We Take Political Correctness Seriously Now? -- NYMag

PC Liberals Devour Their Own - POLITICO Magazine

Hell, even President Obama when asked, thinks PC on college campuses has gotten out of hand: Obama: P.C. Culture on Campus Leads to ?Coddled? Students | Vanity Fair

It has gotten so noticeable of what is ailing Western Academia that even a website for lists has noticed it and published on it: 10 Most Absurd Things Banned On Politically Correct College Campuses - Listverse

And not even us old fuddy-duddies have noticed it:How Campus Progressives Ruined Liberalism for the Rest of Us | The Claremont Independent

I'd post conservative views on it, but i already know you don't give a shit with what they have too say. "Whatever", right?

Hopefully your fellow Liberals and Progressives can do what the easily dismissed conservatives cannot.

Do that and you'll lose money on it. In the meanwhile, i'll be investing in the Aluminum foil Market in spite of myself. The temptation to capitalize on your mistake is too great.

No. These are comedians that hold the same values as you do. Or as near to the same values as you have. If they noticed something is wrong when it comes to PC on campuses, then you know the situation is as near too being as f--ked up as it can be.
Thanks from Sabcat
