Be civil and respectful, no matter who you are dealing with. It shows who you are.
Thanks from Athena

Let me confess, I went through a period of using the F word and taking pride in being as insulting and abusive as the worst. Then I realized I was being sucked down. My pride in being able to slam people became horror of what happened to me.

My moralizing today is like being a dry alcoholic. I know how bad it can get and I know I want a different reality.

One more thing. Trying to avoid the careless talk and actually reason through what is being talked about, is a huge demand on our brains and very energy consuming. It is much easier to skip all that mental work and use a few insulting words.

What I have noticed, not just here !!!, is that the title and lead in of a thread can make a difference. The angrier we start a discussion, the sooner it degrades into nastiness.

I think this thread has come to its end and important things have not been said. We can not achieve things when we do not investigate the subjects.

Is it possible people are attracted to the forum because they want to be emotionally aroused but don't want to do the hard work of thinking things through?
Thanks from Gordy and xMathFanx
