a) it's discrimination based on private behaviour - d'uh ... or are you suggesting that all "private behaviour" should be kept from having prosecutions involved? Rape comes to mind... Why would you not file a lawsuit for discrimination based on private behaviour? It's the discrimination that is both unlawful and shameful - not the behaviour.

because, hopefully, we live in a country where possession of property doesnt give you the right to violate others' rights. Your suggestion that it's acceptable is why, for decades, blacks had to keep to one side of town - because landlords on the 'white' side wouldn't rent to them.

c) how MANY different fathers do your children have? - and how many men have lived with them in addition to the biological ones? (you'll notice that I put the word husbands in quotation marks, realizing that you hadn't married these people you had sex with and lived with. I was being civilized and not calling them your f-buddies)

Who is gossiping about me here? I have been married. And I lived with my husbands not a minute less than I should have. I wonder who I confided some stuff to in pm's. And that means there are only three possible tale spinners.

Tristan if you ever were to want to develop a close friendship built with me on mutual respect and closeness, I would tell you things you might even care about as another human being.

Fact is, I am that force to be reckoned with though.

And fact is, if you were not gay...I think you would be liking me pretty much. I like you some. I would rather you not be oogling over extravagantly endowed chests on women, and more attracted to her content.

Fact is this little Nazierette is no one's puppet.

Nobody spun any tales - it's not hard to figure out that the force-to-be-reckoned with has had lots of men around from YOUR posts over the years.

No, thanks. Not interested. YOu have proven yourself to be a not-very-nice person (oh - you can talk the talk sometimes - but when it comes to walking the walk....). I'm not interested in "close friendships" with a person I can't trust. Thanks all the same.

Actually, you're the scariest kind. But, if you ever choose to examine YOURSELF the way you choose to examine others, you'll discover that on your own.

Of course the government engages in social engineering. That's why there are colossal welfare & rehabilitation programs, huge prison populations and public education.

It's also the reason why marrying multiple wives, minors or animals is illegal.

If the government is saying that we must not allow a man to marry another man because it is a threat to marriage (all evidence to the contrary), then that is tantamount to saying if a Jew marries a Christian, it is a threat to marriage.

Seig Heil mein freund!!!!

I have seen this comparison to smoking before, it's bullshit. Smoking is a health concern to innocent bystanders and it also causes property damage.....What if someone said i refuse to rent to you because you are a Christian, would that be OK? Hardly, this is America where discrimination is not tolerated.

Now if you moved in and then started preaching from the balconey, that would be a different story entirely.

....cite the law that specifically addresses this.

However, if he decides not to rent to a co-habiting couple, or a guy with several girlfriends, or an elderly couple, or smokers, none of these can sue for discrimination.

It's just another example of the special privileges homosexuals receive whilst they bleat about wanting equal rights!

...and yet sadly, you can't prove any of it.

Myth debunked.

Many would say that 16 is too young, or even 18. The point is it's an arbitrary decision.

...but how are these things affected by same sex marriage? Following your logic, we allow men to marry women, so why not girls? We allow a man to marry one woman, so why not many?

The door is already open for all these people to stampede to the courts for inclusion...and it rarely if ever happens, I wonder why? Hmmmmm, 5 years of same sex marriage in Massachusetts and yet nobody has challenged the court to marry their refrigerator or dog or dead girlfriend, or a 6 year old.

The fact is, the same sex marriage debate is about gender based discrimination, and it has nothing to do with age of consent or any of the other bullshit you are constantly bleating about.

You lost this battle years ago....

Sorry bigot.

LOL Tristan. First of all cos my personal life has nothing to do with the posts I have made raising questions you have yet to answer. But if you must know, I can count on one hand how many men I have had, whether as a boyfriend or more. To your credit and my chagrin...when it has come right down to it, I surely have known how to pick 'em! But I have not been entertaining men nearly as much as you think. My kids are my life. And with two that are handicapped it has been a challenge that left little time or energy or emotion for romance and the mushy gushy love stuff. And I did homeschool them for six years and to their credit, when I was far too spent to do it another year, they all entered their respective grades in public school and made high honors right off the bat.

As to friendship...it was just an offer. I find that friends can differ on issues and find a way to still know a mutual respect and concern that makes for more give and understanding on both sides.

I don't examine you at all. The issues is all. That said, you spoke of the privacy of what one does behind closed doors. So then, how is it that with that cherished privacy, a gay couple can even file a discrimination suit?

Your term of endearment for me as a Naziette, though meant unkindly. Perhaps as unkindly as you would suppose Pride used the words homo and faggot and the like...

But I will take the name Naziette, since it reminds me of a woman I heard speak years ago. She had been inducted into the Nazi party and was the youngest member. But she found Christ! She had an encounter with Corrie tenBoom. Perhaps you have heard of her? She is a marvel of a woman, and as true a believer as there can be. A true heroine of the faith.

Now back to my questions if you will. If not...carry on. I was just wanting to learn how you could speak of maintaining privacy and yet sue in a public court for a discrimination based on a private behavior. It's not the same as discrimination based on what all can see...like race, sex, or apparent handicap.

Kind Regards,

OD
