The price of solar is dropping continuously, economy of scale.
Thanks from iolo and coke

So you are willing to spend $100,000. If you are 40 years old and live to 100 then the day you die you would have save $60,000 of your $100,000 investment. That with the presumption that your photo array would last 60 years, which of course it would not. So in order to "get back" at the government you are willing to throw away all your money.

Even today, in case of a nuclear accident, the feds will be called on to cover the insurance needed to cover it.
Nothing is mono-dimensional except for a mathematical point that has no area.

I think solar and wind is awesome. I personally think the direction should be pushed for individual house owners to go that route instead of making it into the large centralized grid.
Thanks from imaginethat

What do you mean by "pushed". If it is good it does not need to be pushed.

substitute the word marketed for pushed if your that but hurt about it.I also think there should be property tax reductions an other tax incentives for solar and wind power to be used at personal residences along with businesses as well.

I do not think there should be any "credits" on tax forms. for any of this stuff. I hate the tax stuff done for the electric cars and all of the other stuff. Enough. If solar is good then the person buying it will buy it. We do not need more "incentives" and all of this stuff. We need to get rid of all of this kind of stuff.

Do you understand the difference between a tax reduction and a credit? With a tax reduction you cannot get to the point were you pay no taxes and get money from the government. With a credit you can.
