The reduction in temperature during the little ice age was because of an abnormal environmental condition. When those conditions no longer existed and evironmental conditions returned to normal things "warmed up" as temperatures returned to normal.

What we are seeing with this warm up differs in two significant ways, the amount of the increase is greater and it's more of a global increase.
No....What I am saying is that nature is more powerful than humans by magnitudes..... Humans can spend years and untold disruption to the global economy trying to fix hypothetical climate problems and nature can change the whole thing in a matter of hours...

false.
We are at a point in history where we could end all life on earth , not just with nukes but thousands of other things.
Even the comet strike the erased the dinosaurs couldn't do that .
We can.

Did I say just nukes?
No I didn't .
There are chemical compounds and weaponized gasses that can sterilize every thing.

this is an excellent illustration. it has been posted here before.

https://xkcd.com/1732/

look at the speed at which the temperature changes when being driven by natural factors. it happens over centuries, over millenia. its a slow, gradual shift. now look at the very end, since the industrial revolution, the speed of change makes it different to the previous changes. of course, this change could just be natural forces, that for the first time in history are occuring at lightning speed, purely coincidentally at the same time we happen to be pumping greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.

My bad....Yes... anthrax, Sarin gas or VX gas will do a very efficient job of knocking down the population

I have seen that before. The part where the rapid shift takes place is a forecast.

Yes and the steep angle of the forecast is based on the current "fudged" number.

The bottom line is that this should be called a theory not a fact. The theory is that man can affect some change in the climate. Frankly it is a ridiculous theory. All this so some socialists can control, though taxation, people. Liberals are fixated on cow farts, while terrorists are picking away at the foundations of western society.

why is it so ridiculous? humanity has had a massive affect on the earth. we have affected the surface of the earth dramatically, in places we have turned forests into deserts. we have driven countless species to extinction, or to the brink. we have changed whole rivers, we have terraformed entire islands. when it comes to waterways, biodiversity, forestation, we have had a dramatic, massive affect, why should the atmosphere be immune?
Thanks from Clara007 and Daws77
