No its not. You even now admit its not. Make up your mind.

Yes there is a distinction between theory and fact.

Gravitation is a FACT. Objects with mass exert an attractive force on each other.

What CAUSES that attraction is a theory, in this case the Theory of Gravity.

Observation and experimentation have given us a pretty clear understanding of what causes gravitation and that is why it is the Theory of Gravity, the highest level of current understanding of what the cause of Gravity is.

The Theory of Man Made Climate change is the highest level of current understanding of what the cause of Climate Change is.

You even state that man "causing" climate change is a theory. Thank you.

Yes, a SCIENTIFIC THEORY.

You are just ignoring the significance of what a Scientific Theory is.

It isn't just a feeling, it isn't a hunch, it goes beyond even an "educated guess"

A Scientific Theory is the current highest level of understanding of a scientific topic.

Unless there is MASSIVE amounts of evidence that a Scientific Theory is wrong it is the de facto explanation.

The Theory of Man Made Climate Change is the BEST explanation we have right now to explain the facts that we are observing. Unless you can present MASSIVE amounts of evidence that this theory is incorrect, it is what the scientific community will use as THE explanation.

Thanks for continuing to ignore the significance of a Scientific Theory.

When a scientists publish results they are supposed to release all of the associated data and such so that the results can be retested and verified. NOAA is not doing that.

The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has refused to comply with lawmakers’ attempts to subpoena internal communications relating to a recent climate-change study by its scientists.

Do you even READ your own links?????

From YOUR link:

Quote:
Representative Lamar Smith, the Texas Republican who leads the House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, asked NOAA in July for the data used in the study and for any internal communications related to it. NOAA has provided the committee with the publicly available data and has briefed committee staff on the research
What NOAA has not provided is the communications which, of course, have nothing to do with the scientific study.

And you, of course, continue to ignore the significance of a Scientific Theory.

It would be in your best interest to just stop posting on this subject since it is blatantly obvious you have no idea what you are talking about.

the fact is this:
in the last century, average temperatures globally have increased significantly, and faster, dramatically faster, an order of magnitude faster, than at any other time in earths history.

the theories are:

this is due to an increased ammount of greenhouse gasses, mainly CO2 and H2O that human activity has added to the atmosphere.

or

this is a natural phenomena.

those with relevant knowledge, education and training in the areas of science relevant to this question, overwhelmingly agree the first theory is the correct one.

those with no knowledge of science, feeble understanding of ecosystems, but with access to the internet, tend to go with the second.
