Its more words and bull shit. Nobody is going t need to build anything because the houses are obviously not going to be underwater. This same talk was going on 10 years ago. The coast of Miami was already supposed to be underwater. Rosie O'Donnell's house was already supposed to be flooded.

When are you silly people going to stop trying to make this one world government you keep striving for?

...and the research which substantiates these claims in bold text is found at...?

as said before the GW research is junk science. I reject it.

You can't know that human-driven climate change isn't happening because the empirical data to support that allegation doesn't exist. In other words, you can't produce the evidence. You have a faith-based belief that human-driven climate change isn't occurring.

Meanwhile, despite an inactive sun and predictions of a looming ice age, global temperatures, especially in the polar region, continue climbing.

Climatology is a young and evolving science. Climatologists and others are learning as they go. Longterm climate predictions can be almost as tough to get right as the next week's weather forecast. Almost.

However, other than the rising levels of CO2 resulting from human activities, no hypothesis can account for a warming climate and a cooling sun.

So then in the 17th century, after the little ice age, when the earth went into a warming period, we must conclude that increased CO2 levels caused by man made the temps rise?
Thanks from sailA

No, far more than atmospheric CO2 and the sun affect the climate: orbital variations, axis wobble, changes in ocean currents, changes in vegetation cover, big meteors, and changes in albedo.

All these factors are in play. It's not either the sun or CO2.

Of course, if you understood climatology you wouldn't need me to explain it to you.

No, the point gets a falling grade, and so do you.

Sure, climate changes occurred without human input, but that doesn't' exclude human input from having measurable effects.

It seems the US Navy isn't so dismissive of the subject. But hell, Rosie O'Donnell and justoneman know way more than the US Navy.

Rising oceans threaten to submerge 128 military bases: report

Rising oceans will swallow parts of the world's biggest naval base by the end of the century, according to experts who warn that it will take billions of dollars in upgrades to prepare these facilities.

Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia and 17 other U.S. military installations sitting on waterfront property are looking at hundreds of floods a year and in some cases could be mostly submerged by 2100, according to a new report from the Union of Concerned Scientists. Based on these calculations, the report says a three-foot sea level rise would threaten 128 U.S. military bases, valued at roughly $100 billion.

Nine of those bases are major hubs for the Navy: In addition to Norfolk, flooding threatens Naval Station Mayport, Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay in Georgia and the Naval Academy in Maryland, where 2003's Hurricane Isabel flooded classrooms, dormitories and athletic facilities.

"DoD values the UCS's insights into the impacts of climate change on military installations," Air Force Lt. Col. Eric Badger told Navy Times. "We welcome their report and its findings. We recognize climate change impacts and their potential threats represent one more risk that we must consider as we make decisions about our installations, infrastructure, weapons systems and most of all, our people."

So 83 years and the base will be under water. Ok, how many feet will that be, that the ocean needs to rise by, for that to happen?

The US Navy is prohibited from using active sonar when whales are near these days. Loud pings that are heard above water and will kill a swimming human and assorted hominids in a range of 200 yards.
