Europe got screwed, blued and tattooed. Don't forget the prevailing westerly winds at 40 degrees north latitude which will blow the stink to Europe.

Another Trumpanzee weighs in:

President Donald Trump does believe in climate change and that humans have a role in it, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley told CNN's Jake Tapper in an interview on "State of the Union."

"President Trump believes the climate is changing and he believes pollutants are part of the equation," Haley said Saturday, answering a central question in the wake of his decision to withdraw the country from the Paris climate accord.

Trump "knows that it's changing and that the US has to be responsible for it and that's what we're going to do," she continued, adding that withdrawing from the Paris agreement won't change the country's commitment to curbing climate change.

"Just because the US got out of a club doesn't mean we aren't going to care about the environment," she said.

The full interview will air Sunday on "State of the Union" at 9 a.m. and noon ET.

Haley's comments are the closest acknowledgment by an administration official since Trump took office that the President -- who has called climate change a "hoax" on multiple occasions -- believes global warming is occurring and humanity has a role in it. When asked in November by The New York Times if he believed human activity was connected to climate change, Trump acknowledged that there is "some connectivity."
So when he was saying it's a hoax he was lying? Or is Haley lying? Or is everyone in the administration confused?

Damn it's hard to keep track.

If it is important to hide the fact that emissions from the USA have been significantly reduced year over year for the past 6 years setting an all time global record reduction in 2016 instead of looking at the current situation and where the future is headed, then your chart is important. Otherwise it is misleading and insignificant data used for a non-productive and destructive anti-USA and anti-Trump rant.

Whether or not it's a hoax is still up for examination. The Paris climate accord was not about climate. It was about money. Just another of Obimbo's, share the wealth schemes. The U.S. will continue to lead the world on environmental issues. EU's parasitic reliance on American tax dollars is coming to an end.

He thinks its a hoax but he is not going to give the media anything to use in their bid to disrupt. Smart of him.

Source for what? Percentage of coal used, or Germany building coal plants? I told you to google it, as it is all public information and is everywhere.

Hell, even the Germans were protesting the German hypocrisy prior to Obama signing the Paris Accords.

Germany has long led the way in global green energy innovation. But ahead of UN climate talks this December, some say the country’s new reliance on coal means it has lost the moral high ground on emissions.

Europe’s leading economy still flaunts its virtuous climate track-record abroad. It was on show during recent state visits by Angela Merkel, the chancellor, to Brazil and India, two of the world’s biggest greenhouse gas emitters.

Yet back at home, observers warn Germany’s powerful coal lobby is frittering away the nation’s reputation as a green Wunderkind.

“The coal problem must be solved if Germany wants to be celebrated once again as a leading voice on climate change,” says Claudia Kemfert, head of the energy, transportation and environment department at the German institute for economic research.

I'm getting the feeling that the number one reason why so many powerful behind-the-scenes interests in Washington look like they want Donald Trump impeached or forced to resign, is because he's such an embarrassment to the rich and powerful...who consider themselves a more intelligent, superior class of people than the rest of us rabble. And then there's Trump! A total dumbass....has never read a book since high school...learns everything he knows from watching television, and has used bluster and bullshit to bluff his way through business deals, bankruptcies and on to the White House...where he's still mostly focused on business deals for himself and the rest of his brood!

On climate change...if the story is accurate, an aide put a fake, photoshopped picture of a 1977 Time Magazine cover in Trump's hand prior to a White House briefing, and that led to his going on a rant about how scientists thought we were heading into an ice age back in the late 70's (when those of us east of the Rockies faced an unusually cold and snowy winter). And this is what happens when you have a child sitting behind the big desk in the Oval Office:

The hoax made a surprise appearance at the White House, Politico reported this week, when an adviser briefing Donald Trump showed him the fake 1977 cover with the real 2006 cover, presenting it as an example of media hypocrisy.

Politico’s White House sources said that Trump reacts in an unfiltered way to news clippings that are put in front of him: “A news story tucked into Trump’s hands at the right moment can torpedo an appointment or redirect the president’s entire agenda. Current and former Trump officials say Trump can react volcanically to negative press clips, especially those with damaging leaks, becoming engrossed in finding out where they originated.”

READ: How sketchy Twitter rumours led to reports of Prince Philip’s death

Speaking to Politico, a White House official defended the fabrication as “fake but accurate,” on the basis that there was concern in the 1970s about global cooling.

Time magazine cover shown to Trump in a briefing was a Photoshopped fake - National | Globalnews.ca

The real story was that...although many of us living around the Great Lakes area felt like we were already in an ice age in 77, there was no snow out west and actual climate researchers of the time were undecided on whether Earth's overall temperature would go up or down. The slight cooling trend in the mid-70's turned out to be mostly due to higher sulpher emissions in the atmosphere that raised the aerosol levels in the upper atmosphere..blocking out more sunlight. But, when newer car emission standards and the growing trend to natural gas for home heating instead of heating oil and the closing of most coal-fired furnaces in the 80's led to reduced particulates in the upper atmosphere and more heat reaching the surface and the upward trend in global temperatures.

But Donald Trump doesn't read...so he doesn't know anything about this! Nor does he know about CO2 emissions peaking at 410 ppm this year, ocean acidification increasing and killing off all marine life by the end of this century, a likely six foot rise in sea levels by the end of the century etc. etc.! There are so many converging climate catastrophes all happening at once/ while actually trying to stave off a disaster will require a lot more than what world leaders claim they will pledge to in this Paris Accord! While Trump and his band of careless, clueless baboons think even cutting carbon emissions is too extreme!

That's incorrect.

Germany generated 45 percent of its electricity using coal.

No new permit for a coal-burning plant has been issued since 2009. No new coal projects are pending.

It was about the survival of humanity, actually. Since you so detest the species, you weirdoes will continue to lead the world down the shitter. Congratulations, Ug!
