Actually, the testimony by the GOA that I cited relates to both the ATVM and Title XVII loan programs.

And Fisker Automotive, which is in the list that you cited, was offered its loan through the ATVM loan program.

And several of the other companies on that same list were offered their loans through the Title XVII loan program.

Cherry picking? Really? Regarding which conclusion that could be formed from the data that was provided when you cited that article with that list of companies? Indeed, cherry picking of that dataset most certainly could not occur regarding your conclusion that "Billions so far not trillions" of "government money (is) being pissed away" since the monies listed in that dataset could not possibly be used to determine that "Billions so far not trillions" of "government money (is) being pissed away." In fact, that article that you cited quite clearly and accurately stated, "the amount of money indicated does not reflect how much was actually received or spent but how much was offered."

So then, once again, how exactly did you conclude that "Billions so far not trillions" of "government money (is) being pissed away?"

At least this decision is based on reducing real pollution.

That is welcome change from the irrational war on CO2.

Ministers have been wary of being seen to "punish" drivers of diesel cars, who, they argue, bought the vehicles after being encouraged to by the last Labour government because they produced lower carbon emissions.
