Trump WH axes Nasa research into greenhouse gas cuts

Heaven forbid we actually monitor how much trouble we are in.

Quote:
President Donald Trump's administration has ended US space agency Nasa's monitoring system into greenhouse gases, a US journal has revealed.

The Carbon Monitoring System (CMS), a $10m (£7m)-a-year project which remotely tracks the world's flow of carbon dioxide, is to lose funding.

Science magazine reports that its loss jeopardises the ability to measure national emission cuts - as agreed to by nations in the Paris climate deal.

The US plans to withdraw from the deal.

LOL

Look at the source, a foreign government owned & operated entity: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC

Seems like a conflict of interests, to me, for some foreign government owned & operated entity to be criticizing the US government (NASA is a US government entity).

Personally I neither trust nor care what some foreign government controlled media outlet has to say, especially when it's the Redcoats.

The Redcoats don't have freedom of speech & BTW look at what they're up to now:
UK Proposes Six Year Prison Sentences for Online Posts Against Religion, Transgender | Breitbart

Notice that part of the "offenses" it lists is "religion or belief." This AGW alarmism stuff is a belief in what's going to happen as a result of human activity - not in the immediate future, but in the distant future.

This OP article actually claims not only that human activity will cause an increase in global temperatures by 2.1C to 4.7C by the year 2100, but that with US pledge it's 3.3C & without it it's 3.6C. This is a belief, not a fact; a fact is something that was observed and happened in the past, not something being predicted.

Anyhow, there seems to be a false dilemma fallacy at play, here; it's another belief that if the government doesn't fund something, then it can't be done. Or maybe it's not that; maybe it's that if the government doesn't fund it, then that means the government has banned what it specifically cut funding from, from taking place. That may be the case in places like Redcoatland, but not right now in the US; for example, any organization is free to do whatever study they wish.

Great insight there SFB:

And for the record, the BBC is less biased and more factual and middle of the road than probably anything you have ever linked in you entire factless life.
