Really? Which ones??

Luckily, here in the U.S., 4 year olds don't have to, but I can tell you as a mother of an almost 4 year old, he could probably find food on his own just fine.

But that isn't the point WT was trying to make, and you didn't get it (big surprise there).

A child born, regardless of their age, can be taken care of by someone other then the person who gave birth to it. As Gary stated, he knows people raised by wolves.

I didn't say I know people raised by wolves but I have read about it. Chimps too.

They're better off than children raised by bigots.

Gary the point is not about whether or not a four year old is capable of caring for themselves, it was about when a fetus is viable outside of the womb. Once a baby is born and can live outside it's mother, with whatever means necessary to keep it alive, it is a person. Before that, it is not a seperate entity from it's mother.

Then you didn't take into account anything beyond your tiny immediate neighborhood. ONLY 13% of all counties have abortion clinics.

You think it will solve the problem if everyone moves to your neighborhood? Aside from the crowding problem, where do you think your food will come from and who will grow it? Typically, food crops are produced in places you condescendingly call "sticks."

My town recently got it's own abortion clinic within the hospital. This is something I am pleased about, as women will not have to drive long distances to Melbourne for their abortions. It also means it is easier for them to find their way home, rather than having someone drive to Melbourne to drive them home. The hospital takes care of them until they are able to leave.

Obviously, there has been a lot of protest, morons holding signs with fake pictures on them outside the hospital, writting to the papers, bitching about all the baby killers, etc. I expect nothing less from these people, to be honest.

Pro lifers are nothing more than bigots high on morals with no idea of what they are talking about. If they had any intelligence they would realise that.

A four year old can survive without it's mother. A four year old can breathe unaided and is independant from the mother. The child does not rely on the mothers body to sustain it's life.

Well if a 4 year old is so independent from parents and parental dependence, why are people so up in arms over 13 year olds getting married? LOL.

Thirteen year olds don't get married over here, that is something your weird country should work out. No thirteen year old should be getting married, she is not physically mature enough, nor emotionally mature enough, for a start.
