Which countries have free speech?

As bad as Americans are today, America has the world's best constitution which has, so far, protected free speech. Are there any other countries in the world that have free speech?

Depends on what you mean by free speech. Not even the USA has completely free speech. Im sure many countries claim that have it but in reality do not. However, I can not think of a country as open as the USA.

I think North Korea should be at the top of the list.

The countries that have the most secrets have the least free speech.

In a corrupt society, the truth can be found in what is forbidden to say.

I found another country with free speech, Japan. Japan has the added benefit that its population is not yet scum. So we have 2 countries with free speech: America and Japan. Any more?

There are a lot of countries with free speech. Of course they all have some regulations on that, but it is pretty common in the West.

Not true. The concept of free speech is clear enough; the right to express any idea. If one can be arrested for expressing an idea, then there is no free speech. Note that defamation and obscenity are not covered by this definition. And by this definition, very few countries have free speech.

What can people in EU countries be arrested for saying? I know a couple of them have anti-holocaust denial laws, but I don't know what the penalties are for that. I don't think every country in Europe, or even the EU, has those laws though.

EU countries have hate speech laws including anti-holocaust denial laws, and the punishment is usually prison. There is no free speech in the EU.
