has there been ANYTHING new, original, unique or intriguing about any post in this topic?

It seems to all be the same old thing - gaysher and his ilk bleating like a herd of sheep about how terrible gay people are, and the other side bleating like a herd of better groomed sheep about how how wrong the bigots are.

Is that pretty much it? (Besides the gaysher's whining about how victimized he is here, of course)

Maybe if gay people would stop destroying rain forests, the debate would subside.

I hear ya Tristan.

I would much rather discuss how our republican officials would pretend that they care about things being payed for now that have never been paid for first before. And yes, I am talking about extending unemployment benefits. That has never before had to be paid for from the general fund. It was always considered emergency spending. And even though they have made this "deal" with the president, they are still trying to force this to be paid for first. It is unpatriotic and immoral. I am outraged that they are so uncaring as to block funding for 9/11 responders and their families. That is extremely unpatriotic and certainly doesn't encourage anyone to sacrifice their own safety to rescue others of their fellow man in times of crisis. How disappointing and nauseating this is. And some people can't get past civil liberties and Constitutional protections and guarantees being the right of every citizen, not just the rich ones or the greedy ones or the ones that don't like someone else's God or sex life or whatever. It is frankly, exasperating and depressing that any American could be so miserable and mean spirited because they just don't accept that being gay has absolutely no effect and nothing to do with their own lives.

Well Harry Reid being a bit of a pussy didn't help matters much. I know girls with bigger balls than Harry Reid. That man is just such a pushover, its no surprise that whatever he does has ended in failure.
