That is not what the equal protection clause means. The 14th Amendmentís equal protection clause was created to serve only one purpose: equality in judicial proceedings as a function of the due process clause.

Again Jimmyb provides no reason as to why anyone should give any credence to the opinion of an anonymous internet troll over that of dozens of judges with years of education and experience in the law.

So glad this argument can be put to bed and it can die a quiet death.

Equality and fairness has won ... I always knew that - given enough time - America would do the right thing.

And now, life will go on, with nothing changed, except for the dignity and legal stability of millions of gay people.
