I went to an Epsicopal service once. Was really bored. However, no one asked you who you were or welcomed you. The Baptists do that, and it is annoying, I want to worship Jesus anonymously. The churches are pretty though, and they seem to do a lot of traditional stuff, with stained glass and a formal looking minister wearing the costume of an Episcopalian. When you get Vicki Gene's job, you graduate to a pointy hat.

A lot of wealthy people are Episcopalians. People who are in private clubs, golf, shoot squirrels, worry over stocks and mistresses and goes to church in finery on Sunday to looks respectable. The Epsicopals came from Anglicans, which was started by King Henry VIII because he wanted to divorce his wives like Mickey Rooney and the Pope wouldn't left him. So Henry went "Fk you Pope" and started basically a counterfeit Catholic Church except he gets to divorce, and then murder his wives, commit adultery, and end up sadly being born 400 years too early for being starred in TLC's "My 600 pound Life". At least Henry saw that the celibacy thing was a big bunch of bullcrap and let his ministers be family men.

Again, not to be "homophobic" but the Bible in many passages clearly condemns homosexuality, in both the Old and New Testaments. There is no side stepping, or this doesn't apply anymore, or whatever idiot excuse the apologists try to make about the Bible, the Bible is against homosexuality, it is a sin and an abomination. If the Episcopals want to throw out the Bible, and become like a Unitarian thing, that's great. But don't keep the Bible and marry homosexuals. It's like a Mosque having a fatback and hogjowl picnic.

You are right, and I apologise. I got confused when Mrs. RNG, somewhat disgustedly told me about Rev. Mary Glasspool, in fact an Episcopalian. When I asked what Episcopalian was she told me it was the C of E in the US. Plus there was a lot of controversy when Ms. Lane was made a bishop.

My bad.
