Wonder how much insurance on an AR-15 would cost, the risk is very low.

Since 3 times more people are murdered by people using their bare hands than by Assault Rifles.

They tried that once. It was called the Soviet Union. Didn't work so well. In spite of having vast resources, far more than the US, they are still decades behind in quality of life. Corruption was rampant before the collapse and is worse today.

What amazes me is how much the left loves to force the people to donate huge sums of money to large corporations like insurance companies. My CPA just notified me I have to pay a $1600 fine for not donating money to large insurance companies for health insurance.
Thanks from Sabcat

The Republicans don't fix what the Democrats screw up and the Democrats don't fix what the Republicans screw up. It's just not in the plan.

Why are you paying a fine? You can lose 1600 bucks from any refund, other than that you do not have to pay crap. Research it for yourself. The IRS can not force you to pay the fine for not having insurance. That is the law. They CAN withhold any refunds due to pay for the fine(s). That is all they can do. Do not write the IRS a check for any ACA fine. Research it first.

The IRS will hold back the amount of the fee from any future tax refunds. There are no liens, levies, or criminal penalties for failing to pay the fee.
