The 2nd Amendment says nothing about "common citizens". It says "the people." Correct?

YOU don't determine what constitutes the "needs" of a Federal Employee.
Period.

If they carry a gun due to a perk of their employment, are Democrats, and if they live in New York, DC, or Massachusetts, or N.J. then they are hypocrites who don't practice what they preach. They don't have too carry a gun, they choose to.

Copy and pasting the Second Amendment does not explain the meaning of the words and phrased in the Second Amendment, especially the phrase "the people."

Is it correct or is it not?

I told you what the 2nd Amendment said.
YOU then said, "it does not."
I PROVED you wrong.
NOW you want to whine about something ELSE?

Oh BTW, I did not copy & paste jack-shit. There a copy of the DOI and Constituion here in my library. I typed the 2nd from memory and then checked my accuracy with the book.

Hollywood has made an outstanding and esoteric argument regarding the meaning of the phrase "the people" in the Second Amendment. He expounded on why "the people" refers to the individual citizens of each state and not the collective people, which is the common citizens of each state, not the federal government. He also explained what a citizen of the United States was prior to the Fourteenth Amendment and what a citizen of a state was in the context of state sovereignty as intended and understood in Article I, Section 2, and the meaning of the citizenship clause in Article II, Section 1.

It is too bad that part of his post was deleted some how.
