It will take my 286 about 1,875,359 years to calculate them for me so I don't think he has to worry much.

A small victory.

Good news from Capitol Hill!

Thanks to your vigorous action, gun owners won round two against the anti-gun crowd in Washington, D.C. this week.

In the face of hundreds of thousands of your phone calls and petitions, the Collins-Schumer Gun Ban failed to secure the 60 votes needed to pass, falling 8 votes short.

Even better, a surprise vote on a gun control “deal” by U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) also went down in flames 67 to 31.

But even as we celebrate defeating a total of six anti-gun measures this week, rabidly anti-gun Senator Chuck Schumer and his allies are doubling down.

They’re declaring today’s defeat a victory, and say they’ll be back with the Collins-Schumer Gun Ban very soon.

They’re keeping this anti-gun proposal on life support, and you can be sure they will be back again.

You see, today’s vote is being called a “test vote” to see if the Collins-Schumer “deal” has the support it needs to advance.

Unfortunately, I’m afraid it passed that test by a razor-thin 52 to 46 margin. Now they need to find the 8 votes necessary to overcome the 60-vote threshold for cloture, and this will become a reality.
Thanks from Jimmyb

Norton Commando is a cool bike to ride that has a lot of torque.
Never cared a thing about motorcycles, But my younger brother always liked them he had a Norton 750 Commando he bought in Europe when he was there in the Army in 1971. Nice looking bike and plenty fast.
He's old and fat now and has a Kawasaki Vulcan.
He was always of the opinion that Harley's were very much over-rated and that the best thing about Harley was it's marketing/advertising department.

I also have had several bikes 6 or 7, my second to the last one was a Kawasaki Vulcan, a purplish blue with hard saddle bags and a full wind screen. I loved that bike and almost died on it.

Well, my brother certainly likes his. He has probably had at least 6 or 7 bikes since we were teenagers. All were Japanese, or European. He was particularly fond of that Norton Commando 750.
