I do not own any handguns at all. All my firearms with the exception of the rifle in the picture are for hunting or they are old keepsakes.
Thanks from Hollywood

That is actually a Remington model 11 which was licensed from Browning. I am not sure how old it is. I should date it. It is not very valuable in the condition that it is in. I probably would not even shoot it. Its a family/local area keepsake. The pump that is two guns to the right is a model 1897 Winchester. It is a field grade model. I have shot a couple low brass shells through it. It was also used by the military and called a M-97 Trench gun. It has some worth to it. Nothing crazy, but in the condition its in probably around 750 bucks. That particular shotgun was manufactured in 1921 I believe. I could be a little off. I did find the date of manufacture on it, but I have it written down on a piece of paper in my gun safe.

Ok, a little history fun about the Browning A-5. When John Browning came up with it he took it to Winchester. They laughed at him because they were ignorant. He went to Remington and the CEO of Remington had a heart attack and died while he was sitting in the waiting room to talk about it with him. He then took it to Belgium where they were already manufacturing Browning pistols. So, began the legend of the Belgium Browning shotguns.

This has been a history lesson brought to you by coke the magnificent.

Its the same gun. Very few differences. The Browning had two shell ejectors and the Remington only had one. The Browning had some threaded pins and the Remington just had knock out pins on the receiver. The Browning had a selector that you could make it into a self ejecting single shot or semi-automatic. The Remington and I think the later Browning's as well were just semi-automatic. That design was manufactured from 1900 to 1997? I think 97, well maybe I am off a year or two on the end date.
Thanks from Jimmyb
