Tourette Syndrome is one type of Tic Disorder. Tics are involuntary, repetitive movements and vocalizations. They are the defining feature of a group of childhood-onset, neurodevelopmental conditions known collectively as Tic Disorders and individually as Tourette Syndrome, Chronic Tic Disorder (Motor or Vocal Type), and Provisional Tic Disorder. The three Tic Disorders are distinguished by the types of tics present (motor, vocal/ phonic, or both) and by the length of time that the tics have been present.
Individuals with Tourette Syndrome (TS) have had at least two motor tics and at least one vocal/ phonic tic in some combination over the course of more than a year. By contrast, individuals with Chronic Tic Disorder have either motor tics or vocal tics that have been present for more than a year, and individuals with Provisional Tic Disorder have tics that have been present for less than a year.

Normally just drinking Lone Star beer and driving around looking for hippies, but nice weather for this time of year and normal. (The first part is from a Jerry Jeff Walker Texas song.)

I drank Lone Star more than once and it is better than Blatz.

edit: I had to edit to tell you who is the best country western music singer of all time, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys.

I will sign off with this, what happened to the milk cow?
Thanks from Jimmyb

I am quite voluntarily typing "bullshit" or "bull-fucking-shit" whenever I think the occasion is appropriate.

If only you boys were even half as clever as you seem to think you are, THEN you'd only be foolish children.

"Republic of Texas?"
No such place exists.

I'm going to answer your question before reading the other posts so as to not be influenced by them.

A wise man once stated, "The greatest reason to retain the Right to keep and bear Arms is, as a last resort, to prevent tyranny in government."

Consider this:

"How we burned in the prison camps later thinking: What would things have been like if every police operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? If during periods of mass arrests people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever was at hand? The organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and, notwithstanding all of Stalinís thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt."

Shouldn't the question be, why did the Founders feel that this was so important that they made put it 2nd in the Bill of Rights? The Right to bare arms wasn't only about personal protection, it was about protecting yourself from a rouge government. The Federal governments complete power grab cannot be completed without disarming the citizens. Hence, the upsurge in the attack on the 2nd Amendment.
