I somehow missed that. Thanks.

Dang kids eat ten of them and go dance, with the downside of the Ecstacy dehydrating and overheating the body causing death. Well, I love single malt scotch but you might die if your drink two gallons of it in one sitting.

Stopped smoking cigarettes, trying to make a go at stopping the liquor and beer (fattening and makes me nutty), on a diet (lost almost 20 lbs now in three weeks!). Can't quit the ganja/dope though. Like Charlton Heston says "From my cold dead hands!"曲曲!
I had to give it ALL up finally. Towards the end I was drinking probably a fifth of booze a day, snorting all the coke I could get my hands on and eating Xanax like they were Tic-Tacs, and doing some really stupid and dangerous shit.

Been clean and sober now for over 32 years. But cigarettes was the hardest to put down.

Good for you. I never did crack, thank God.

I was a crack cocaine user also for about eight years, causing all kinds of grief for myself and my parents. I have a goddamned criminal record for theft which has haunted me for the past twenty plus years (and cannot be expunged).Went to three rehabs, which really did not do any good whatsoever. I finally kicked it by moving out of the country, first to South Korea and then to China. I actually drunk on a Christmas Eve did a bump of cocaine a foreigner offered me in a bar, but it didn't hook me again and that was stupid. I still love marijuana and per my thread (Where in America would you live?), I want to live in a pro-legal state. I am trying to lose weight, get off the cigarettes and the liquor, pot, uh, "from my cold dead hands" or "get your filthy paws off me you damn dirty narc!" (Full of Charlton Heston today...)

I honestly do not get people who can drink a fifth of liquor (or a case of beer or whatever) a day, everyday. Yikes. Just the destruction that does to the body. Wouldn't one be sick all the time? This is why I don't drink everyday, because of the hangover, and when I am hungover, the last thing I want is more alcohol. Yuck.

I watch a show called Intervention, where they follow an addict and their routine and in the end their family and friends talk them into a drug treatment program. One episode I liked was a guy from Arkansas who was literally addicted to beer, and this dude drank beer literally from the early morning until he went to sleep, constantly drinking beer. Ironically he wasn't fat (probably wasn't eating). Part of the reason was that his wife died of alcoholism and this put him into a tailspin. Finally I read that the guy's organs gave out and he died, and he was under 40.

My opinion is alcohol addiction is worse than crack.
Thanks from Hollywood
