Shouldn’t we arm all the convention attendees? After all the RWers want to arm the teachers to protect the students.
You guys just fall for whatever partisan crap that comes your way don't you?

The VP will be speaking at the event therefore it will fall under the jurisdiction of tje secret service. This is protocol for the secret service. The NRA or anyone else for that matter does not have a say in this. We went over this during the election.

This isn't about security for Pence. It's about a bunch of hypocrites, Pence being the biggest one, holding a convention for gun owners to have the right to carry their guns anywhere they want as their God given right.

Except for a convention featuring Pence, held by a bunch of hypocrites demanding the God given rights to carry their guns anywhere they want.
Thanks from Camelot and Lyzza

A right winger is a hypocrite by nature. They can’t help themselves.

I never said otherwise. Of course it is “the government” (in the person of Trump and other high ranking GOP members) that is pushing the idea of arming teachers and pushing the myth that “gun free zones” attract nut jobs with guns.

You are talking about two completely different situations. It would be like bitching about NASCAR supporting lower speed limits in school zones and then calling them hypocrites for driving 180mph at a sanctioned event. It is apples and potatoes.

It's not a "God given right" you idiot, it's a Constitutional Right. "Seven U. S. Presidents have been shot to date. Five of them were shot while President. Of those seven, four of them died from their injuries. Andrew Jackson - shot in 1806; survived (died naturally in 1845) Abraham Lincoln - shot and killed in 1865. James Garfield - shot and killed in 1881. William McKinley - shot and killed in 1901, Jack Kennedy, who actually was killed by a secret service newbe who accidently shot him with a automatic weapon while jumping onto the rear of Kennedy's car. If memory serves, I think Teddy Roosevelt was also shot, but the bullet was stopped by a book incide his jacket. Robert Kennedy was also killed by an assassin, as was Martin L. King. Being prudent is just being rational, you guys are comparing apples and oranges. But then again you already knew this, right?
