Guess what the girls lunch from her mother was??

Turkey and cheese sandwich,a banana, apple juice and potato chips — “did not meet U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines” the Journal reports.

WHAT IS GOING ON IN THIS COUNTRY?? -- HER LUNCH FROM HOME WAS MUCH BETTER THAN FRIED NUGGETS ARE!!!!!!!!

Well of course americuuuns,we cant allow you to eat unhealthy stuff like this, full of vitamins, fibers, proteins and all that!!

A fruit in your lunch? unspeakable!

Let the good social worker throw this garbage away, here are some nice FRIED NUGGETS MADE FROM WHO KNOWS WHERE with potasium sorbate and sodium benzoate and all your favourite cartoon chemicals!

IM SICK OF IT -- ITS GETTING HARD TO AVOID THESE BAD INGREDIENTS ALSO!!

Dad-gum lazy, unhealthy kids these days!

Back in my day, we walked five miles to school, uphill both ways, chased by grizzly bears, and we had bread and water for lunch.

And were were thankful!

Dude, in elementary school we fared much better with the food we were served in the cafeteria than the McDonald's chicken nuggets. And to say that the lunch provided by the mom for her girls didn't meet USDA guidelines? The people must have been blind.

For Pete's sake, like every Friday or every other Friday we had fish sticks with white rice. On other days, we had chop suey, spaghetti, beans, hot dog, toasted cheese sandwiches, hash, salad, fruit etc.

I guess they should serve the girls those triple bypass burgers. Silly, isn't it?

So the Govt inspector told the kid his mom's lunch was not acceptable and gave the child "chicken nuggests"????????

Are you kidding me. Chicken nuggests are far worse than what his mom gave him. We have to get these people out of our lives as soon as possible. They're nucking futs.

This has nothing to do with "healthy eating" for our children. Follow the chicken nuggets. Someone is making money off of this. No other explanation makes sense.

Ha ha... love it!

Older siblings can be almost as bad as parents/grandparents with "back in my day" stories.

My big sisters would claim that, before I was born, Dad made them rake the lawn with their fingers.

I walked a mile and a half to school for 3 years in Minnesota. No such thing as "snow days"

Hey, I went to school in Montana.

Ten, 20 degrees below zero was nothing -- and we didn't get "snow days" either.

And I think it was close to two miles for me all the way through Jr. high, high school.

But I was thankful.

I was bused to school until I entered high school. I hated those buses. They were of the station wagon type. I believe they were called, uh, short buses.
