I've found that neural pain is the worst of all....there really is nothing that can help with it.

My grandma always talked about her aches and pains. My aches and pains started ten years ago when I was 55. Last summer I went to Florida and stayed in a flea bag motel getting hundreds of bed bug bites. Now my joints ache every day switching from one side of my body to the other. My washing machine is in the basement and am very careful going up and down the stairs, and then my urgent bathroom needs.

Last March I bought a new pickup truck and that raised my morale. I am going to Tennessee next year to see the total solar eclipse because I have never seen one before and that will raise my morale. In my golden years I have to do something new and exciting every year because that gives me something to look forward to. Retirement is boring boring boring.

I talk to myself, because sometimes I need expert advice.

I did not know that skin tags are a symptom of insulin resistance. I do know to never cut off a skin tag because it hurts and always grows back.

I have a friend who works in medical and will ask him about skin tags and insulin resistance and the consequences thereof.

I am not retired yet. Thinking about it a lot. Will I be able to find the internal motivation to keep going without the daily pressure of having to earn a living?

I dunno.

Did not know about growing old:

That I would buy the last four cans of anti-fungal foot spray at the dollar store because don't want to ever run out.

When retiring is it better to take money from retirement funds and postpone drawing social security until you qualify for the maximum benefit?

I used to think so.

My financial advisor suggests drawing on the social security sooner and maximizing the amount my tax deferred accounts can accumulate and compound.
