TrumpCare

We should have a thread dedicated to the details of TrumpCare.

So far we know, it costs a lot less, it provides a lot more, and it will insure everyone.

Now, I can think of a couple of plans that actually do that, Canadian Medicare, Britains National Health, or basically the plan that is in place in every other first world country comes closer to this than what we have in the US.

The only problem is that the plans that actually deliver what the GOP promises, have been excluded from consideration by the GOP.

So has anyone got an idea of what this GOP plan is?
It's been over 6 years they have had to come up with a plan, so what are the details?
Because legislation isn't a bunch of vague promises, it's a huge collection of specifics spelled out in detail.
This health care bill should be hundreds if not thousands of pages long.
Have they started working on it?

Can someone post a link to the details? If and when they are made public.

Because other than magical thinking, I haven't seen or heard anything.

I found another description of Rand Paul's plan, which seems to be allow insurance companies to discriminate against applicants and deny coverage for pre-existing conditions, and allow them to drop people with chronic conditions, the "high cost" people, that keeps premiums low.
And for those people denied coverage, the government pays for all their health care.
Problem solved.... sort of
not really...I don't think Paul Ryan wants to budget that last part...
Thanks from Hollywood and Daws77

Rand Paul is simply a Republican U.S. Senator, a single person.

So the US can't afford something that nearly every other country can afford?

So what do YOU propose we do about the 40 million working poor who can't afford insurance ?? Let them die of simple easily treatable diseases ?? Let them die of treatable injuries ??

Well, maybe. If we acted like the rest of those countries. You know, like not being the defender of Europe, Asia etc. etc.

It's easier to let them die than to retrain them. Stalin said something like that.
