Lesson? You can't trust old people. Turn your fucking back on them, and they'll be in your pants, one way or the other, in no time.

OK. And, as we've learned, you can't believe the press any longer, not like you could in the good ol' days. Except for a very few news outlets, it's all fake news if you disagree with it. Freedom. We, the people, need to be the Fifth Estate and report the shameless media's spinning their fake news webs. You can't trust the media. Keep saying this.

What else? How about our electoral process? If you're on the right, it's the damned illegals registering to vote, with with help of the Democrats. And if you're on the left, then it's Trump somehow getting help from Putin and Assange. Either way it sucks, and it might be both ways! Main deal: You can't trust the electoral process.

And now you can't trust fucking old people.

It's an anarchist's dream, right, Sab?
Sab has been saying that for quite awhile actually. If you recall, Sab never supported Trump, he supports the idea of Trump. Correct me if I am wrong Sab

I'm pointing out that we are being disassembled piece by piece. We are increasingly distrustful of each other, and our public institutions. It's accelerating.

The young and the middle-aged turning on their elders and calling this a good thing, this is Satan walking the earth.

Sorry to hear! It's hard losing parents at any age, but we have to be ready when the time comes.

My father also lived a long...mostly healthy life, until he was 86 and was taken to the hospital after what was first believed to be a stroke. Tests revealed he had an aneurysm near the brain that was making him disoriented, and a relatively easy operation fixed the problem and he was able to pick up where he left off during his retirement years. That was until another aneurysm was discovered deep in the abdomen. The specialist who examined him, gave him a 65% odds of survival...discounting his relative health against his age. The operation would have been more intrusive and the likelihood that he would have been wheelchair-bound afterwards. So, my dad shocked the doctors by saying "thanks, but no thanks!" And walked out even though they only gave him another 6 months before this...more serious aneurysm would burst. My father wasn't delusional and suspected they were right, but even though he believed he only had a short time to live, he wanted to spend that time living on his own terms and not sick and paralyzed! And sure enough, the aneurism did burst...4 YEARS Later...unfortunately while he was doing something he really enjoyed during his daily routine...out walking the dog. According to neighbours, he collapsed and was unable to respond, and had no pulse when the paramedics arrived, and was pronounced dead as soon as he was taken to the hospital. Naturally this was all upsetting for my mother and needless to say for his dog...who was taken in but was never the same afterwards.

So, my father was among an unfortunate minority who have had the conditions just right to determine when and when not to keep extending life. It's too bad we all don't! As my dog and cat are getting old(and costing me significant vet bills) my veterinarian says even if I feel I can afford to do so, try to judge whether they will resume life as they enjoy it after treatment. In some ways care for animals is more humane than for people in our modern world!

Since trump was one of a hundred in the primaries he was the perfect candidate, I started more than one thread on it I believe. Yes, it was the idea. It was a bonus that he said some things that I agreed w/, told the media to fuck off along w/ those who were caught up in the death trap that is identity politics.

IMO this is the #1 reason to get rid of socialized medicine. The baby boomers have fucked up the economy, environment, education, government basiclly they were given. They have left a wake of debt and destruction behind them that will take generations to repair, if it is even reparable. Now that that they are living well past their shelf life in spite of their selfish lifestyles they want everyone else to pay to keep them alive. I say NO!!! You should have planned ahead.

Maybe if you guys would have focused on the things that had made aging gracefully a pleasant experience for previous generations we wouldn't be in this mess. But you guys neglected family and ran through marriages like the shake of the month. You created the single mother plague that we have today and the prison culture. Now there is not the traditional saftey net the the elderly that people in other cultures and the past had. Family. You destroyed the economy and inflated property so dramaticly that your grandchildren cannot afford to buy a home. You fucked up the education system so much that your grandchildren are living w/ your kids, tens of thousands of dollars in debt for worthless degrees. Those could have been, should have been your rooms for you to live off your end days in. You decided that an estate tax was a good thing so when you die your kids will have to sell the house that you leave them (unless the bank takes it) to pay the taxes instead of just keeping it in the family. You have systematically squandered the gifts that were given to you leaving your great grandchildren w/ the tab. Now you want social security and Medicare ontop of it. For shame.

I am still trying to figure out WHY you live in this horrible, no-good, very bad country. Can't you find some nice tropical island where you can be king?? YOU do NOTHING but piss and moan about how horrible we are. You can't stand anyone, anything, anyhow, and yet.....here you are. WHY???
You are obviously a very unhappy, disenchanted, discontented, self-anointed anarchist. YOU are having no luck pawning off your lunatic ideas so you just circle BACK to DTT and try another tact. Today's topic du jour is typecasting millions of Americans. Find another place to live, Grumpy.
Thanks from RNG

Tick tock...tick tock.

Another progressive living on the dole w/ nothing of substance to add.

You, being from the un-education system are far more guilty than the rest. You were active in this tragedy. People are waking up to your Ponzi scheme.
