These overfed CEOs demonstrate money addiction.

To repeat, I fail to understand why people defend other people who are screwing them over and enjoying it.
What business is it of yours what they are paid?

No, I want to see a doctor when I don't feel good, and I don't want that to cost a fortune. That's what every rational person wants.
I really don't care if insurance is paying for services, or if the doctor is on salary, I just want someone who went to medical school to check out my symptoms and to give me something to make me better.
I want what I need, and I'd like it at the lowest cost possible.

Wanting to pay twice as much for the same thing doesn't make you an individualist, it makes you an idiot.

That most definitely does not validate your point that without the US, major medical discoveries would go undiscovered.

It's my opinion that it's my business to oppose addicts who are in control at the highest level of the corporatocracy.

I'm not comfy with addiction and addicts, whether it's addiction to drugs or money.

You can not like their pay, but they are private sector companies. This is the United States. You can cut their pay if you purchase the majority of shares in their company. That is how a free country works.

I own those companies in my 401k, the cult of the overpaid CEO is destroying the American economy, and the value of my holdings.
Companies are being run in the best interests of the management, ignoring the best interests of the stockholders.

Everyone who runs those companies work at the will of the stockholders.

no.

this is simply a list of number of publications in scientific journals. almost all of them come from universities and other public institutions. it is not a list of medical innovations and its not from private research. this list is entirely irrelevant when it comes to the issue of paying for medical care.
Thanks from imaginethat and RNG

It has nothing to do with paying for medical care. It is part of the empirical evidence that the US leads the world in medical innovation.
