Trump saves ObamaCare

President Trump says House health care bill was 'mean' - ABC News

Trump says the House version was too "Mean".

if 3 Republican senators balk, it's ObamaCare forever.

The latest strategy is to repeal ObamaCare, but leave everything in place for 7 years, so every Senator can get re-elected before the shit hits the fan.
Which also makes the CBO score look a lot better because the CBO only scores it on the first 10 years.
The big advantage of this is the the coming Democratic majority can reinstate it all, before any cuts take place.

Mister Boy President strikes again. Isn't this "mean mean mean" bill the one he gloriously supported just weeks ago??

Yep.
Here Are All the Ways President Trump Praised the GOP Health Care Bill He Just Called 'Mean'

Trump said the bill would make insurance prices go down

He said it was good because it would repeal and replace Obamacare

He said it was great because it was done quickly

And overall, he said it was good because of the "talent" that helped develop it

"So what we have is something very, very incredibly well-crafted. Tell you what, there is a lot of talent standing behind me. An unbelievable amount of talent, that I can tell you. I mean it," Trump gushed.

"But we have an amazing group of people standing behind me," the president added. "They worked so hard and they worked so long. And when I said, let’s do this, let’s go out, just short little shots for each one of us and let’s say how good this plan is — we don’t have to talk about this unbelievable — wasn’t it unbelievable? So we don’t have to say it again. But it’s going to be an unbelievable victory, actually, when we get it through the Senate."

Very, very incredibly well-crafted....

He just threw 'em all under the bus.

C'mon, I want to see a Trump supporter defend this.

I can be a Trump supporter for this. I enjoy the role of devils advocate.

The Senate healthcare bill is a secret. SHHHH!!
Senate Republican leaders drafting a measure to revamp U.S. health-care policy appear to be following the same path as their House counterparts: writing a bill behind closed doors before springing it on other lawmakers and the public close to a vote.
Rank-and-file Republicans, including Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Jeff Flake of Arizona, say they don't know what's in an emerging Obamacare replacement that's been under negotiation since the House passed its version in early May. Even lawmakers who have attended small-group sessions to help draft it say they aren't sure how Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, may be resolving areas of disagreement.

Oh, and NO WOMEN allowed, becuzzz apparently women don't need to worry their pretty little heads about GUY STUFF.

It is a reference that the President was obviously hoping for improvement in the bill. I do not see that reference quoted anywhere in the current "mean" health care articles. Therefore, it must not fit the "thrown under the bus" angle that is being pushed

Thank you. Your response reveals the psyche of a Trump supporter very, very well

Trump called the House bill "a great plan." Later, he calls the great plan mean.

So, is a mean plan also a great plan? Or, did Donnie throw under the bus the great talent responsible for the "very, very incredibly well-crafted" Obamacare replacement, oh, and it's all the Democrats' fault, as Jim just pointed our?

You folks dishonor yourselves defending Mr. Trump.

Look what the Democrats forced Trump to say:
"So what we have is something very, very incredibly well-crafted. Tell you what, there is a lot of talent standing behind me. An unbelievable amount of talent, that I can tell you. I mean it ... But we have an amazing group of people standing behind me ... They worked so hard and they worked so long.
And yet, the plan, in addition to being unbelievable was also mean.

And Trump's supporters make sense of this nonsense.
