So we're so far in debt, we can't afford to pay less for health care....

We pay more and we live longer, and we are more likely to be cured of a life threatening disease.

Which would you rather have LESS MONEY or be DEAD?

First, I think your statistics are bullshit. Next, seeing how we pay about twice as much for health care as a percentage of our GDP as countries that provide universal health care, shouldn't the survival rates be twice as good? Instead of a couple percentage points? Also, the stories are endless here in the U.S. of people dying because they couldn't afford medical treatment. Or because their insurance company came up with some BS reason to deny them coverage. Many people have also gone bankrupt paying for medical treatment. Many other people have also become homeless due to medical bills. Where do all those things fit in to your statistics. Just out of curiosity, have you ever seen the documentary "Sicko?"

Yes. It is amazing what you can brainwash some people into enduring.

Or if you wanted to die a little more slowly, you could always go to the VA if you're a veteran. If we ever get universal health care, we're going to have to do a hell of a lot better than that.

Obviously the American system is hugely expensive and an utter flop. Our tories are anxious to destroy the NHS, but they have to do it secretly: the health system is hugely more popular than the monarchy, and if they came out openly against it they'd we annihilated.

These statistics don't even reflect the recent leading cause of death. Drug overdose. I say sarcastically, "Sending American jobs overseas and doing nothing useful about illegal invader scab scum from south of the border is really starting to pay dividends." Also, if you want to talk about fatal injuries, you might be interested in looking at my thread, "Unleashing the truth." Though it is now closed down to debate.
