You just drop out currency and start over. Problem solved! Also, inact regulations that will stop the U.S. from bleeding money and going back into debt. Such as inacting fair trade instead of free trade.

Iím sure you have some capable people who will be able to work out a system of funding that doesnít increase the debt, and there are many ways they could achieve this either through private or government controlled schemes
"Private" would never work. It is what has gotten us into this mess to begin with.

They are giving their money to those people anyway.

[QUOTE=TNVolunteer73;1108999]Our present system does cost more.. you get what you pay for.

If you get a disease your odds of survival is GREATER in the US.

(when you exclude accidental death killed at the scene of a Car Accident and incedents were people are killed instantly at the scene of the crime, these do not even enter the Healthcare system) the US has the longest life expectancy in the world.

We pay more and we live longer, and we are more likely to be cured of a life threatening disease.

Which would you rather have LESS MONEY or be DEAD?

Your statisics are a load of crap. I looked it up. The U.S. ranks #43 in a long list of countries when it comes to life expectancy. Most of that has to do with us not having universal health care. Consider this. Who is more likely to go to a doctor. Somebody who can afford it or somebody who can't. Now, who is likely to be healthier. Somebody who goes to the doctor or somebody who doesn't.

That aside, there may be some merit to what your statistics show as far as deaths due to accident. (Such as car accident) Very little. Because in those other countries that are ahead of us, they drive there too.

Oh! That must of hurt! It's too bad we don't have universal health care. Then they could go to the doctor for that without any worries.

Who do you believe a Canadian Politician that is dependent on the increasing tax dollars from the Canadian people or and independent investigation into the Flight south of Canadians for Healthcare so they will not suffer and die waiting for care.

Lets see what the Canadian Supreme Court had to say on the matter

Top court strikes down Quebec private health-care ban - Canada - CBC News

Nuff said
No. Not "nuff" said. Maybe what they need is more doctors. To do that they would have to start paying for students to go to college to become doctors. Higher education is free in some other countries. I wonder what it is like in Canadia in that regarrd.

10s of 1000s do so across the US.

Why to a few hundred Canadians come to clinics like TN Oncology for Treatment for their Cancer, every year using said private insurance plans.
From what I heard, and was shown in the documentary Sicko, many Canadians do buy private health care insurance. When they are planning on visiting the U.S. Because we don't have universal health care.

Here in the U.S., this is what they should do. Have cops cruse around any bars at about 10:00pm. Any cars parked by that bar they just start putting tickets on their windshields for drunk driving. Anybody who doesn't agree with it can call the police. Somebody with the status of a meter maid will drive over and give them a breathelizer test. Otherwise, they would be considerede guilty and have to pay the fine. And whatever else goes with it.

But here in the U.S., we have an unfortunate "proud" tradition. If you run some sort of business, then everything is fine. Because we are a capitalist country. Everybody else can fuck off and die. If cops started doing as I suggested, bars would probably start closing down due to lack of business.
