The Asshole Is Usually In Charge

Ending life is evolving from doing nothing to prolong life to taking action that ends life:

Allegations against a Texas abortionist by former employees that he killed infants who survived abortion by “slashing or twisting their necks” are being reviewed by the FBI, says a new report.

FBI reviewing claims against ?head-twisting? abortionist
Never, never, not for any reason give any government the authority to decide which infants, and which law-abiding adults, live or die. The control freaks that go into government will always choose death over life.

When someone is taken off life support —— a nurse, a doctor, a technician, SOMEBODY, must perform the deed; i.e., pull the plug; remove the feeding tube, etc. That person is guilty of premeditated murder. Society’s failure to punish a murderer is the first step on the road to giving the government the authority to murder any group the government deems undesirable.

And of course there is always this: “America is a nation of laws.” What a joke that is. America is a nation of judges issuing orders. Neither judges nor anyone else has the Right to end a person’s life just because they cannot speak for themself.

All medical decisions must remain in the individual’s hands. In practical terms that means a patient decides which treatment and medication to accept or refuse. That Right to decide will not be allowed to stand when medical scare tactics fail. Once a substantial number of Americans begin deciding against this or that treatment or medication both the government and the medical profession will take away the Right to decide.

Parenthetically, nine years ago the government began the process of denying the individual’s Right to control his body parts in life and after death:

The proposal could move the federal government closer into alignment with what has been proposed by longtime Barack Obama adviser Cass Sunstein.

Obama’s “regulatory czar” was revealed in 2009 to have pushed strongly for the removal of organs from those who did not give their consent to becoming an organ donor.

In his book, “Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness,” Sunstein and co-author Richard Thaler presented the possibility of the “routine removal” of organs because “the state owns the rights to body parts of people who are dead or in certain hopeless conditions, and it can remove their organs without asking anyone’s permission.”

Latest Obama controversy: Who?s ID?d as organ donor
Brain dead versus coma —— coma lost.

The term ‘brain dead’ was created by Harvard butchers in 1968. Their reason was obvious. Calling a medical condition brain dead quickly acquired a precise legal definition insofar as a charge of homicide was avoided when killing someone in a coma. In plain English: A brain dead diagnosis was created as a legal excuse to kill.

An ad hoc committee at Harvard Medical School published a pivotal 1968 report to define irreversible coma. The Harvard criteria gradually gained consensus toward what is now known as brain death. In the wake of the 1976 Karen Ann Quinlan controversy, state legislatures in the United States moved to accept brain death as an acceptable indication of death. Finally, a presidential commission issued a landmark 1981 report – Defining Death: Medical, Legal, and Ethical Issues in the Determination of Death – that rejected the "higher brain" approach [clarification needed] to death in favor of a "whole brain" definition. This report was the basis for the Uniform Determination of Death Act, which is now the law in almost all fifty states. Today, both the legal and medical communities in the US use "brain death" as a legal definition of death, allowing a person to be declared legally dead even if life support equipment keeps the body's metabolic processes working.

Killing with kindness is always the justification for government killing. Population controls is the final phase of killing with kindness. Most people see population controls as a philosophical/political argument; whereas, the government killing one person for political reasons makes decent people uncomfortable. Stalin supposedly put it this way:

One death is a tragedy. A million deaths is a statistic.

Sad to say that one death at a time will become a statistic if the Culture of Death is not reversed.

WND has reported extensively on Schiavo, most recently when her brother, Bobby Schindler, lobbied for 11-month-old infant Charlie Gard, who died after Britain’s High Court ruled a hospital could take him off life support, even though his parents had raised more than $1.8 million to transfer him to the U.S. for treatment. Schiavo died after a court allowed doctors to withhold food and water.

WND has been reporting on the Schiavo story since 2002, compiling unparalleled, in-depth coverage of her life-and-death fight.

The New Yorker piece focused on the case of Jahi McMath, who was declared dead after a tonsillectomy.

However, a judge later ordered a trial, which is coming in a few weeks, since McMath has been kept on life support by her family. An expert now has concluded that while she may have met the definition of death several years ago after her surgery, she no longer does.

NOTE: Jahi McMath passed away:

A malpractice lawsuit is pending against the hospital, and whether or not McMath is alive impacts the case.

Girl at center of legal fight for life dies during surgery
Nobody who acts to end life is ever charged with murder; so maybe malpractice lawsuits against hospitals is the way to go. If ending a life is not murder, it sure as hell is medical malpractice.

Let me point out that the type of person who profits from the Affordable Care Act staff the hospitals, testing labs, etc. They are the very type of Democrats who encourage, and take part in, everything that was done to Terri Schiavo. The treatment Jahi McMath received is worse than most “life-support” stories because all-powerful doctors and hospitals did it to her. And it was done after the ACA became law.

Socialists/Communists/Democrats do everything incrementally. Government murder is no different.

The brutality in the way Circuit Judge George W. Greer of Pinellas County, Florida, took part in the murder of Terri Schiavo stands as a template for everything every judge can now do in 50 states:

That legal determination is a life-and-death matter, warns Bobby Schindler, whose sister, Terri Schiavo, died 11 years ago Thursday after a judge ruled a care center could withhold medical treatment, which resulted in the removal of her feeding tube.

It took her 13 days to die.

XXXXX

He blasted Circuit Judge George W. Greer of Pinellas County, Florida, for ruling “to kill Terri, despite her mother and father pleading with [her husband], and the court, to allow them to take her home.”

Schindler noted that guardian ad litem urged Judge Greer to refuse the dehydration request.

Notice the tie-in to Planned Parenthood’s profitable body parts business:

“Decisions are being made now in the best interests of the hospital,” he said. “It all comes back to costs and hospital profitability.”

Also now, he warned, the issue of brain death and organ donation is imposing further pressure on incapacitated patients and their families.

“They had to create a way to make it easier to get at people’s organs,” he said.

So the result was a “brain death” diagnosis in which surgeons declare that death has occurred and organs can be transplanted.

11 years after Terri?s death, ?medical treatment? threat grows
Incidentally, the high cost of keeping a comatose patient on life support is one of the arguments used to end life. The very people who make that argument never complain about the tremendous cost of feeding wealthy tax dollar parasites. In short: The number of individuals requiring life support is miniscule compared to the number of millionaire Democrat parasites in the federal government.

I noticed that the euthanasia lobby —— which includes mainstream media —— pins the success of their agenda on “brain dead.” There is an aspect of brain dead that has always troubled me.

There is an assumption that thoughts, emotions, feelings, etc., originate in the brain. Hence, brain dead sounds logical. I have never been convinced that is the case. When you cut your finger an impulse is sent to the brain telling you to feel the pain in your finger. The paralyzing fear a person feels as their car skids towards an oncoming truck begins in the pit of their stomach, it does not originate in the brain.

Who can deny that thoughts are only processed by the brain originating elsewhere as in pain or fear? The brain is a processor and does not feel pain. As far as I know, there was no damage elsewhere sending signals to Terri’s brain telling her to feel pain. There was no evidence that she was feeling pain. Even if it can be shown beyond a doubt that she was in pain the answer is painkillers not euthanasia.

Those who killed Terri said that she was not in pain —— never admitting that starvation causes pain even if the brain was not functioning well enough to activate a defense mechanism.

Please do not compare the court-ordered murder of an innocent woman to the execution of a criminal after decades of tax dollar funded appeals. In any event, Terri Schiavo never hurt anyone, but she was killed without her consent anyway.

One of the arguments for killing Terri cited her Right to abstain from receiving artificial life support. The word abstain was actually used. Of all of the sick perversions the abstain claim is the worst; more so since no one knew what Terri wanted. The government does not allow Americans to abstain from anything these days. Obviously, an exception was made to accommodate the Grim Reaper in Terri’s Right to abstain from being murdered.

To no one’s surprise the ACLU came down on the side of killing Terri Schiavo. The ACLU is a charter member in the Culture of Death Club, while at the same time the ACLU fights the death penalty at every turn. Do not let the Culture of Death crowd’s push to abolish the death penalty fool you. Liberals are outraged by the death penalty because they fear the day they might find themselves strapped to a gurney.

Who can swear that Terri’s life force, her emotions, her ability to know life was not functioning? Say that a bird landed on Terri’s windowsill. How can anyone say that Terri did not experience the same pleasure and curiosity that makes an infant giggle? The euthanasia crowd will never admit to that possibility because they only speak for themselves. They assume that because they do not want to live in a so-called vegetative state no one else does either.

My point: A brain dead vegetative state is a physical thing with no proof that thoughts and emotions are not alive and well somewhere else. People in the West assigned courage and cowardliness to the heart: “He has the heart of a lion” or “He is fainthearted.” The Chinese always thought the liver was the most important organ. That shows there has always been a suspicion that thoughts and emotions reside somewhere other than in the brain.

I never came across a great body of thought that put the brain at the center of life. Those who believe in euthanasia are the only ones who say that. I do not consider their political agenda a great body of thought.

If I am absolutely correct about this ——Terri’s very essence was starved in the cruelest way imaginable.

Agree or disagree with removing Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube, but you cannot deny that an individual got away with killing her because justification —— not the act —— was the deciding factor. By exonerating the person who did the act, did not the courts endorse the Nazi defense? I was following orders. Bottom line: The courts must always judge the act not the justification.

Florida’s courts allowed it, and the US Supreme Court refused to hear the case. Had the SCOTUS taken the case you can be certain the butchers would have screamed about the government interfering in our lives. Naturally, it is not government interference when a state court orders the feeding tube removed. The person who actually pulls the plug committed murder. I never found the name of the person who removed the feeding tube? And I never understood why the hell they were not arrested for premeditated murder?

Why murder? And why premeditated?

A person had to commit the physical act of removing the feeding tube well-knowing Terri’s death would be the result. That is premeditated murder. Think of it this way. Suppose the individual who removed Terri’s feeding tube had the court’s permission to shoot her rather than let her starve to death. Would that be premeditated murder?

Parenthetically, TV viewers are bombarded with government propaganda depicting hard-hitting cops and district attorneys ever-ready to lockup the bad guys, yet someone commits a deliberate act that ends in the death of another person and there are no cops or district attorneys in sight. In fact, the policeman on duty in Terri’s room was told to leave the room so he could not be a called as a witness to identify the murderer.

In addition, judges in Terri’s case are guilty of aiding and abetting a premeditated homicide. At the very least, someone in authority should have told those judges: “If you want that feeding tube removed come and do it yourself.” I know that if I worked at Terri’s hospice and someone ordered me to remove her feeding tube, I would have told them where to shove the job.

And how many Americans realize that Socialist priests in our courts issue orders while making damn sure that real blood does not soil their precious judicial robes.

And of course there is always this: “America is a nation of laws.” What a joke that is. America is a nation of judges issuing orders. Neither judges nor anyone else had the Right to end Terri’s life just because she could not speak for herself.

Incidentally, the Left is forever citing the Nazis as the only villains in the twentieth century. Some try to equate conservatives to Nazis, yet a close look always shows that Socialists are the Nazi clones. Not punishing Terri Schiavo’s murderer is only one such example.

To justify taking an innocent individual’s life opens the door to governments murdering millions. If the tens of millions of murders done by governments in the last century taught anything it is that there is no slope slipperier than cultivating the government’s bloodlust.

The road to governments slaughtering their own people begins with the public’s acceptance of things like mercy killing, doctor-assisted suicide, abortion on demand, and so on.

Was I too hard on judges? Hardly! A snake is a snake; a judge is a judge. A venomous snake may drowse in a bed of flowers, but it remains a deadly snake. Snakes and judges do what they will do. They are creatures of habit no more able to change their ways than the Earth can alter its orbit around the sun.

Let me close with a bit of gallows humor:

Parts of the human body had a meeting to decide who was in charge.

"I should be in charge," said the brain, "because I run all the body's systems; so without me nothing would happen."

"I should be in charge," said the blood, "because I circulate oxygen all over; so without me you would all waste away."

"I should be in charge," said the stomach," because I process food and give all of you energy."

"I should be in charge," said the legs, "because I carry the body wherever it needs to go."

"I should be in charge," said the eyes, "because I allow the body to see where it goes."

"I should be in charge," said the rectum, "Because I am responsible for waste removal."

All the other body parts laughed at the rectum and insulted him; so he shutdown in a huff.

Within a few days, the brain had a terrible headache, the stomach was bloated, the legs got wobbly, the eyes got watery, and the blood was toxic. So they quickly decided that the rectum should be the boss.

The moral of the story.

The asshole is usually in charge!

I was surprised to learn that it took twenty years for Japan to execute murderers. I am not sure if the Japanese people paid for all of those appeals:

The next time death penalty opponents tell you that the United States is “the only civilized nation with the death penalty,” go ahead and laugh in their faces. Japan, whatever faults it may have or have had historically, is a highly civilized place, with a miniscule crime rate and standards of public order that even the Swiss can envy. And boy do they ever have a death penalty!

In the early hours of the morning today, seven members of the Aum Shinri Kyo religious cult that carried out a horrific sarin gas attack on the Toyo subway in 1995, killing 13 innocents and sending thousands to hospitals, were executed by hanging. The cult had stockpiled horrific weapons to provoke a doomsday vision, and killed a total of 27 people before it was broken up.

The leader of the cult, Shoko Asahara (real name: Chizuo Matsumoto) and six of his accomplices spent two decades in prison, while appeals and other legal niceties were fought in court, and finally resolved in January this year. Another six members of the cult are in prison awaiting execution.
