Mexicans Voluntarily Leaving the US

An interesting article from Pew Research shows:
Quote:
From 2009 to 2014, 1 million Mexicans and their families (including U.S.-born children) left the U.S. for Mexico, according to data from the 2014 Mexican National Survey of Demographic Dynamics (ENADID). U.S. census data for the same period show an estimated 870,000 Mexican nationals left Mexico to come to the U.S., a smaller number than the flow of families from the U.S. to Mexico.
The article notes that increased scrutiny of the border slowed down Mexicans coming. It further speculates that few jobs here and better job prospects in Mexico helped drive their leaving, but:

Quote:
A majority of the 1 million who left the U.S. for Mexico between 2009 and 2014 left of their own accord, according to the Mexican government’s ENADID survey data. The Mexican survey also showed that six in ten (61%) return migrants – those who reported they had been living in the U.S. five years earlier but as of 2014 were back in Mexico – cited family reunification as the main reason for their return. By comparison, 14% of Mexico’s return migrants said the reason for their return was deportation from the U.S.

Details on how the numbers were arrived at and more comprehensive text are at: More Mexicans Leaving Than Coming to the U.S. | Pew Research Center

Bingo.. the more difficult for them to find employment, and steal welfare.. they leave.

Thanks, for proving me being correct for so many years.

61% leave to reunite with family, 14% are deported, so 25% have some other reason, but it's all Obama's fault.

Using that logic, it was all Bush's fault that they came in the first place.

We have seen this before. I can't stand it with these people that sit around and complain that we are being "invaded" by people seeking to work to support their families. You know, like the good old American Dream or something. Whatever.

My dad works on a university campus and sees contractors from out of state that come in and get the jobs to build with state money. Of course they hire "Texans" that usually spend very little of their money in the local community, you know, that state money that came from taxes. Anyway, these guys work hard, earn their pay, and either ship it home or carry it back with them.

I don't blame any man or woman who works hard to support their families. I think it must be terrible to have to leave one's family and home to strike out and hope to find some way to earn enough to make it all worthwhile. Good for them.
Thanks from Camelot and Hollywood

I don't totally agree. We need laws and constraints. The EU is learning now about the difficulties that arise from open borders.

And an illegal alien is and illegal alien, no matter how nice a sounding name you give them.

But everything you said when applied to legal immigrants is correct.

Why the need for MSM brainwashing ? You'd have to be living under a rock the past 25 years not to know that our corporations were employing these people and the American consumer has been benefitting economically from the low cost labor of these people. Don't worry, I won't blame the MSM for your ignorance of the obvious.

Only fools believe that they are all coming here to work. Unless by "work" one means work the system, as with the birth fraud.
