Clearly, Islam's role in Egypt's new government will be much larger (if it doesn't go Islamist).

Cairo Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a leading Egyptian Islamic theologian popularized by Al Jazeera, returned to Cairo today to deliver a stirring but overtly political sermon, calling on Egyptians to preserve national unity as they press for democratic progress.

"Don't let anyone steal this revolution from you those hypocrites who will put on a new face that suits them," he said, speaking to at least 200,000 who gathered for Friday prayers in Tahrir Square, the epicenter of Egypt's uprising. "The revolution isn't over. It has just started to build Egypt ... guard your revolution."

The massive turnout and Mr. Qaradawi's warning that the revolution is not complete demonstrate that if the military drags its feet on reform, another uprising could begin. And while his sermon was nonsectarian and broadly political, the turnout was also a reminder that political Islam is likely to play a larger role in Egypt than it has for decades.

Hopefully, the Egyptian military will come to its senses and not allow the Muslim vermin to grasp their claws into Egypt's government.

Egypt will never be a large scale threat, so why bother worrying?

Whats so great about Egypts new government to think it so much better than Islam? Isn't it run by similar people? Isn't Islam the main religion in Egypt?

To be honest I fail to see the big difference. Both claim to be good and honest and neither is.

Where Islam is "Misunderstood"

For some very odd reason, the perfect religion of Islam

is routinely "misunderstood" each and every day to sanction

terrorism in the name of Allah. Since 9/11, this occurs in:

India . . . the Sudan . . . Algeria . . . New York . . . Pakistan . . . Israel . . . Russia . . . Chechnya . . . the Philippines . . . Indonesia . . . Nigeria . . . England . . . Thailand . . . Spain . . . Egypt . . . Bangladesh . . . Saudi Arabia . . . Turkey . . . Morocco . . . Yemen . . . Arkansas . . . France . . . Uzbekistan . . . Gaza . . . Tunisia . . . Kosovo . . . Bosnia . . . Mauritania . . . Kenya . . . Eritrea . . . Syria . . . Somalia . . . California . . . Kuwait . . . Virginia . . . Ethiopia . . . Georgia . . . Jordan . . . United Arab Emirates . . . Louisiana . . . Texas . . . Tanzania . . . Illinois . . . Australia . . . Pennsylvania . . . Belgium . . . Denmark . . . East Timor . . . Qatar . . . Maryland . . . Tajikistan . . . the Netherlands . . . ...and pretty much wherever Islam is taken seriously:

"O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who

are near to you, and let them find harshness in you,

and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty"

Qur'an, Sura 9:123

Not every Islamic person is a terrorist or even supports terrorism. True Islam ideals were expressed best as a government and culture by the Ottoman Empire, read about it it's quite interesting.

Stop typing like a mentally incompetent child, it's really annoying. Not all Muslims hate other religions, actually quite a lot of people honor Jewish people - according to the Old Testament (Genesis) Arabic people (who eventually adopted Islam) and Hebrews are the two sides of the same coin.

Why are Muslims always calling for Jihads and putting Fatwas on people?
