They did indeed. But don't forget that General Wesley Clark revealed the Pentagons plans for regime change in 7-8 countries in the ME. And Benghazi isn't to be ignored, for the Obama administration did smuggle arms, confiscated from Gaddafi's army, out of the Benghazi annex through Turkey to the MB, AQ, al Nusra infested separatists fighting to overthrow president Assad in Syria. Regime change in Syria is also a long term USFP ambition that predates the Obama administration, which bolsters the notion that USFP transcends administrations.
