Iraq, Iran, Russia and Syria. What a nice little mutual admiration society.

They've been attacked by the US in one form or other; either militarily or through sanctions? Why would anyone in the WORLD trust the US?

we now find ourselves on the same side as al qaeda.

the middle east is a mess the west cannot fix. we should leave them to themselves. we stay in those places that are free democracies that actually want western assistance, and leave the rest to sort it out themselves.

The countries in the Middle East have been conditioned for decades to believe that they can sit back and watch the U.S. use OUR blood and treasure to clean up THEIR neighborhood. It's taken some time but these countries are now starting to understand that this game has changed. The President's strategy is starting to bear fruit.
