Your opinion of what actions the president should have taken in 2009 were pretty unrealistic and lame. Have anything that would actually be realistic in mind ?

This president could have done something to show support for the Iranian people that were brave enough to stand. That's all I'm saying. When an American president supports a murdering backwards barbaric tribal cult over citizens standing up to them, there's something terribly wrong. This president is a disgrace.

The problem is too many of you guys with your anti-Israel attitude can't see beyond Israel and that this "deal" has made the world more dangerous, not less, going forward.

Iran is expected to conduct a rocket test this month in violation of the recent UN resolution on the Iranian nuclear deal that bans long-range missile tests, according to U.S. intelligence officials.

Intelligence agencies are closely watching preparations in Iran to test a Simorgh space launch vehicle that U.S. officials say is the base for Tehran’s covert program to develop long-range nuclear missiles.

The large liquid-fueled rocket was developed with North Korean technology and was observed on a launch pad at the Semnan satellite launch center, located about 125 miles east of Tehran.

UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which outlines implementation of the recent Iranian nuclear agreement, prohibits Iran from conducting nuclear ballistic missile tests for the next eight years.

The resolution, passed in July, states in Annex B that Iran will not “undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using such ballistic missile technology.”

Asked about the upcoming launch, a State Department official declined to speculate on whether the launch will violate the UN resolution. But the official said the administration is concerned about the potential to use it as a long-range missile.

Let us do a comparison;

THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION:

*The Iranians ramp up their nuclear program completely unhindered by Bush and Cheney who were preoccupied with Iraq at the time.

*the Iranian government was firmly in the grip of hardliners.

THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION:

* Nuclear deal reached with Iran, enriched uranium shipped out of the country, hard water reactor rendered inoperable by drowning it in a cement cake and Iran's nuclear program set back 15 years.

*The Iranian Parliament unanimously in the hands of reformists.

Do you really wish to embarrass yourself further ?

Only the blind cannot see how Iran and North Korea are working closely together, and how Iran getting ~$150 billion released, plus allowed to sell oil on the open market, will fuel this further. And Iran has already violated the "deal" and prepares to violate it further.

The embarrassment is our president that appeased Islamist militant backwards barbaric tribal cult over the people standing up to them.

In the Bush Administration we were also sitting on both sides of Iran, flanking them....If the ayatollahs did something stupid we could squeeze them like a shit sandwich...
